Re: TES Skyrim

Actually Day and Night can be and are active at the same time during specific situations, twice a day at least.

Under "normal" circumstances, Day starts to poke its head through around 6am and is in full force by around 8 or 8:30. Likewise, night starts having an impact around 6pm and is in full force by about 8:30pm. During these transition periods, both Day and Night are active and their corresponding settings will affect the scene (i.e. DirectLightDay, DirectLightNight). The transition is typically smoothly progressive from one state to the other over a period of about 2 game hours.

As mentioned in my previous post, certain weather conditions will trick ENB into believing Night is setting in (dark storm for example), in which case Day and Night will interact as above. ENB does not use game time as a measure for Day/Night.

Personally, I do as follows:

1. Tweak general Day settings on a clear sunny day between the hours of 10am and 4pm
2. Tweak general Night settings on a clear night between hours of 10pm and 4am
3. Fine tune after that for specific conditions but avoid making large changes

If you are like me, 1 and 2 above will take not that much time but 3 will last forever, lol. Its a balancing act and compromises will need to be made. Settings that look great in one situation will not be ideal for another. Note that I tweak for gameplay and not for screenshots. If I were tweaking for screenshots then I would likely have an arsenal of various configs specific for each "basic" type of lighting situation and then finalize the tweak before taking the shot, lots of work.

Re: TES Skyrim

Some quickly taken Dishonored shots, I know it's not a skyrim but it's quite good looking game with an interesting art style.
And some BF3 AK vistas to compare them to Skyrim's mountains.

Screenshots always looks better Boris :P and on a serious note, I am playing this game with downsampling (3360x2100 to 1680x1050) and custom FXAA injector settings at constant 60 fps, no wonder it's Unreal engine 3 :) with pre-baked shadows, SSAO and lighting, I tried to force Nvidia SSAO and it was hard to notice because of in game pre-computed SSAO effect and in some places the only way you can see Nvidia SSAO it's an artifacts from it or on dynamic objects like characters and so on, but this game still manages to look quite good. reminds me of Rage somehow.

And my two new Skyrim chars shots, what can I do I love portrait shots because like in real life almost always draw portrait stuff.

Re: TES Skyrim

This is low quality of sun texture and after increasing it's intensity (or/and gamma curve) by one of these parameters in enbseries.ini:
SunIntensity
SunCoronaIntensity
SunCoronaCurve
you have that issue. The best solution is to find sun texture and blur it Photoshop, then save as dds or some other format which game read, but as uncompressed rgba 32 bit, not dxt1-5.

Gionight, respond to your pm's! lol.

How do you use enb with Dishonored? Also, can you share your custom FXAA settings for dishonored?

If possible, I'd also really like to get FXAA config for Dishonored
