Re: 1FPS with SSAO enabled
perhaps just need to wait for newer versions of drivers or skyrim.

Re: 1FPS with SSAO enabled
I found out the problem, not sure if this is why SSAO + ENBseries gave 1FPS but...
We set Anisotropic Filtering to 2x
and Anti-aliasing to 2x
Enbseries + Skyboost at 1920x1080 on a GTX460 = 40-45FPS
(Video card is the bottleneck, not the i7 CPU)
also, with my AMD CPU,
this line
iNumHWThreads=
from Skyrim.ini gives me 1 FPS with any setting. I must delete this line to run the game.

Re: 1FPS with SSAO enabled
anyway, today we decided to completely delete ENBSeries for the small FPS boost.
But we look forward to future versions (that are more optimized!)
removing ENBSeries gives 2-5 FPS boost (assuming thats because ENBSeries uses more GPU)

Re: 1FPS with SSAO enabled
We, as in me and another skyrim/ENB user. (a friend)
we have different computers with different hardware setups.
I tweak both of our machine and try to figure out how to config the game properly and get good FPS.
We like ENB but we do not know how to properly use it i guess

Re: 1FPS with SSAO enabled
You right, only few users got the master status with ENBSeries
I don't know what to suggest, even HUD will not help when user don't know what he/she want to achieve.

Re: 1FPS with SSAO enabled
do you see room for optimization or is ENB as fast as its going to be?
I must admit, i have not learned how to config the enb settings yet. I have been mostly focusing on skyrim.ini and skyrimpref.ini, but I am mostly done with those files. I am mostly inactive with skyrim, but I check the forum daily.
I like ENB, do not think I am saying it is bad or anything like that.
Eitherway, This is what I am waiting for..
new skyrim 1.5 patch
next geforce drivers (current drivers are beta from dec. 21)
ENB update???
after 2 of 3 of these happen, I will look into learning how to set up ENB.

Re: 1FPS with SSAO enabled
Of course ENBSeries is not optimized yet. All the changes for [SKY], [ENVIRONMENT] and same kind presets will be free by performance, only effects like ssao, bloom and other are not for free. But i can't do much with game bugs which doesn't allow to use nvidia and ati specific hacks (they are implemented by bugthesda), so game do much more computations because of that (very noticable outdoors, when looking on to some village, when fps decreasing a lot generally). Seems bugthesda don't want to fix their bugs and game not work with them for me, so optimisation is limited, it's same kind difference as if in AntiFREEZE set FixGraphics=true and false.
