Alright, so I know my last thread was asking some crazy question about the injector, but now that that has been solved, I'm experiencing something quite new.
I'm using The Climates of Tamriel mod with the author's personal ENB settings (using the enbseries.dll from .113). It runs pretty well when I initially run the game, but as I go to different areas (eg. Go from being outside, into a shop, then come back outside), I have some odd frame rate loss. Oddly enough, I only experience the frame rate drop when I go from an interior to the main outside world. Whenever I go inside a building, the frame rate is a solid 25-30. When I initially go outside, the framerate is about 15-20 (which is normal for me, I kinda like a slower frame rate in games like this), when I go into a building and then come back outside, the framerate drops to about 13-17. Go inside another building and come back outside, framerate drops even further down to a 8-10. Sometimes I'll go straight from a 15-20 fps and then go inside and come back outside and have a 3.5 fps rate. All of this sounds like it has something to do with either my RAM or my VRAM. I plan on getting a new graphics card soon but I'm not exactly sure why my GTS 450 would be the cause of that, or my 8 gb of RAM. Do I really need more?
tl;dr: Incremental frame rate drop when I go in a building and come back outside, but when I'm inside a building, frame rate stays the same. How fix?
Tech Specs:
3.4 AMD 4-core 965 Black ed.
Nvid GTS 450 1gb Dedicated (2.3gb shared)
8 GB Ram
Win 7 Ult. 64-bit
Yes all drivers are up to date.

Re: Framerate drop
This issue is not related to ENBSeries.

Re: Framerate drop
Well I'd rule ENB out if it wasn't causing it. Whenever I play Skyrim in vanilla mode, this doesn't happen. When I enable ENB (and again, ENB didn't used to do this before), this happens. If you don't think it's ENB, what could it be? A mod?ENBSeries wrote:This issue is not related to ENBSeries.

Re: Framerate drop
ENBSeries just reduce amount of video memory (have many own internal "textures"), it's catalyst. Bad drivers can do this, installed and running software to tweak or monitor videocard, overlay chating software, bad mods which do not unload textures or geometry (meshes). On this forum i saw at least once the same complain as you have.

Re: Framerate drop
The only thing that I could think would be a bad mod holding textures in the cache. Trying to deduce what it is now. Thanks for the help.ENBSeries wrote:ENBSeries just reduce amount of video memory (have many own internal "textures"), it's catalyst. Re: Framerate drop
I have the same issue, and I experience it playing with ENB mod on. I tried reinstalling clean Skyrim, it didn't help. Whenever I play without ENB everything's fine, but with it framerate drops occasionally when exiting interiors.
I tried disabling different effects separately to find out what was causing it, but it didn't help.
Also I tried different presets (about 10) - no result. Moreover, I must note that I used different versions of ENB (0.116-0.120) - no result again. And of course I reinstalled the drivers for videocard (several times, as I've been struggling this problem since summer, so I updated to new drivers once they were out).
ENB runs fine for me: no lower than 30 fps in exteriors, stable 60 fps in interiors, but this damn issue ruins everything as it drops to 15 fps at best making the game unplayable and only restarting the game helps (switching off ENB in-game via shift+f12 doesn't help).
BTW, my specs: Intel core quad 2.5 hz, Nvidia gtx 560ti 1gb vram, 4 gb ram. I dunno what else is needed.

Re: Framerate drop
I had the same issue for a short time.
It's not related to ENB. I'm certain of it.
Usually I got 30-32 fps (it's locked at 32). And whenever I went inside a house and got back out my fps dropped to 6-10. Basically unplayable. Restart Skyrim and it's back to normal, for a while. Tried disabling ENB but the problem was still there.
Delete or rename SkyrimPrefs.ini and Skyrim.ini so the game is forced to create new .ini files.
This solved the issue, for me at least.

Re: Framerate drop
I have the same issue. I get 40 fps normally in exteriors, 60 when in interiors. As soon as I exit an interior it drops to 20 fps and dips below. The only way to solve it is to wait for about 5 minutes or fast travel. If I disable ENB during this dip, I get 60 fps outside.

Re: Framerate drop
Again, it's most likely a VRAM issue that can be traced back to the shoddy memory management of the engine. Check (or even better, log) the memory usage.
