if you want to stick to the first, try using just the fxaa tool for now to make it a little easier, you can adjust bloom - exposure and bleach. i could tell you individual settings to change but as your getting completely different results from me i wouldnt know which to advise. (actually try in game brightness first ) :)


Thanks! I tried messing with the fxaa tool and didn't find any preferable results, but I did lower the bloom some. I think i'll eventually end up trying your latest preset version.

Here's a few from my latest set. I tried to stick to the contrast between light and dark with a nice amount of color, but over last time reducing bloom and adding in the extra detail.

Hopefully from the pics i have included you can see I have managed to get the detail in there.

So I finally took the next step and implemented SSAO into my set. Granted, I get about 20fps with it, but damn is it gorgeous.
