Re: Poor indoor (including dungeon) performance

I tested the 0.120 dll and found that I had the same issues, so I tested the 0.119 dll and everything was fixed using it. When I said that the problem had been occurring since 0.121 I honestly couldn't quite remember if that was what had happened, as I hadn't payed much attention to the issue until then. Also, while testing I have continued to notice that my FPS seems to drop when certain light sources 'pop' in.

Re: Poor indoor (including dungeon) performance

Version 0.120 was the first with deffered mode, so first of all antialiasing may be enabled by drivers as supersampling and that's why performance low (out of video memory, textures and geometry loading from ram). In this case set as lowest resolution in game as possible and set quality of textures to something lower, measure performance, if it's still low as before, then i guess for ati deffered render do not remove it's render target surfaces at right moment, i'll think where this could be, but not sure that will be fixed easily on nvidia card.

Re: Poor indoor (including dungeon) performance

Performance was still bad when I turned the resolution down to the lowest (apart from using windowed mode because that disables crossfire), so I think the deferred renderer is the issue.

Re: Poor indoor (including dungeon) performance

I'm using CrossFire with the newest dll binary, and no such issues whatsoever in interiors, so definitely not deferred method. You've got something forced in CCC that should not be present, or improper installation of drivers, especially for CrossFire which, contrary to popular belief, does impact how well ENBs work, regardless of interiors or exteriors. Check to make sure you've done the proper installation of drivers and go to the AMD section of the forum to solve some issues there.

Re: Poor indoor (including dungeon) performance

I am using the latest 12.11 drivers (I also uninstalled them and reinstalled them for testing) and the problem occurs even with crossfire disabled, and the only things I have changed in CCC are the surface format optimisation and AMD overdrive for overclocking (I have tested both and they aren't causing it). Also, in case you were wondering I don't use RadeonPro so that isn't the problem either.

Re: Poor indoor (including dungeon) performance

I have the same issue. I'm running two GTX 670s and the frame rate drops to a crawl in certain areas. One of the most particularly bad ones is the room to the immediate left of the Jarl's throne in Dragonsreach. Just walking past the table there sends my frame rate to the single digits.

This doesn't occur in version 0.119.

At this point, I would assume that it is not hardware-related.
