Re: TES Skyrim

Some water textures are affected by fireintensity. I had to play with that, the curve, and bloom, to find a happy medium with my light settings.

Some of the light looks wrong to me if I turn adaption off, like in this room. The light from the ceiling is incorrect depending on where I look at it from (it is missing on some of the chandeliers). I have been trying to increase all of the different light types so that they work together in a room, but it doesn't seem to have continuity between rooms.

Do I need a 'light' mod? Something like this? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/7654

Recommendations?

wow, wait a sec, how did you get that UI thingy? You don't imagine the ammount of time that would save me.

Love those two shots, looks very good!

Sure :)
Thanks, but beware, that's not only my ENB, it's also this: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/27043

Re: TES Skyrim

I think that mod will be good for me. I need something to fix some of the glitchy light in the game.
GUI is part of 125 binary :)

My ENB is starting to take shape :D
Think I have the Interior, Night, and Day off to a good start. Now I need to travel around and see how it looks in other areas.
I need to figure out how to tweak SweetFX so the images are smoother. Too many jagged edges.

Re: TES Skyrim

Something is changing the color of the grass near the horse...any ideas?
Image

Almost have the sharpness and SSAO where I want it, just a little more fine tuning to get rid of the jagged edges.

Reflections are kinda tough with blood textures.

Still need to work on the clouds and moon a bit. Morning transitions are difficult.

Re: TES Skyrim

@kali- Thanks, man! Yeah, it sounds like a major PITA. I may just take Boris' advice and just d/l the fix. I already spend way too much time with ENB as it is.

BTW, Thank you Boris for the GUI, it is fantastic! It would be cool to have it work with enbeffect.fx too but I know that there are so many different types of code for that so maybe it won't work. But anyway, I look forward to the upcoming configs. I'm sure the new GUI will give all those ENB masters out there a leg up on the tweaking tip. I've already learned a lot more myself, now if I could only break my alt-tab'ing habit, cuz if you don't save before you alt-tab you lose your changes :)

Re: TES Skyrim

 I think she is cute.
Learning how to play the game was difficult at first, I think I got to level 25 before I figured out there was a dragon I had to kill (didn't know how to use the journal  ).
This is my first computer game, so file structure and modding is all new to me. I didn't realize how much can be changed by the user, and so many people make mods. It is amazing.
Learned a lot about how the game functions by using this character because it is a separate race. Editing different files for 1st/3rd person view, how setscale works, etc. Body mods are easy on a vanilla character, but things are tricky for someone that has never done it before. I think I have installed the game over 10 times now because I break it learning hehehehe.
Learning ENB is much easier now with GUI, no more save/quit/edit/load for changing parameters. I can see what I am changing live, and save it. Then compare old/new ini in notepad++. I think I have more fun learning these things than playing the game.

Re: TES Skyrim

Thanks for the support guys, I have uploaded my settings to this post. I still use many of the old files, only updating the d3d9 file when needed. Also added the denser grass file, will drop FPS like a beast, so be warned.

I'm all ears to suggestions to any added mods, or effect files, or tweaks that will help achieve that bloomy fantasy feel.
