@Blackheart6004
I agree with far327 nice shot but I think the one with "Morrowind" fungus is a greater capture Really nice looking indeed.
@far327
Do that and let me know what you think of it
The 3.4 version is the RL - Vanilla edition and the 3.5 version is well the 3.5 version. But the next update of 3.5 will include the 3.5 Dawnguard patch values inside the Realistic Lighting.esp so you can have those settings customizable but still use the look from the Dawnguard patch.
The original RL 3.4 vanilla file is only at 36kb, mine with only Skyrim compatability is now at 102kb and I have only started with it so far, still need to assign the rest of the roommarkers and then add the Dawnguard compatability and Hearthfires compatability
The uploaded files have all this except for the roommarkers part though. And I have done the compatability so if you only have Skyrim you can use that, if you only have the Dawnguard DLC use that, and the same for only having the Hearthfires DLC. Then there is a combination of all the DLC's currently released, Dragonborn DLC will be added once it is out for PC's

Re: TES Skyrim
Maybe you can see these JawZ
I think your config is looking great Mindflux - I know what you mean about upping contrast and saturation, but not hitting the spot. Some configs seem to manage colours so much better, being vibrant, but not oversaturated... Gionights stuff being a good example. I end up turning saturation right down, but find mine looks a little pale.
Anyone here into Dark Souls?... is it worth getting for £15 in the Steam sale?. I'm put off by how hard its supposed to be

@ Dogstar
? what do ou mean
If you mean your pictures, so do they look really nice but if I may add some suggestions from my point of view. I would try and add a little more overall saturation and decrease the sky curves of the middle and top settings and maybe a tiny bit more contrast, just my thought take it or leave it
Either way your ENB Preset is looking as good as usual
@ all
If you want good looking snow textures check this mod out, amazing looking textures in my opinion.

Thanks, I appreciate your support! In that 'green' screen it's mostly just the summer version from Skyrim Flora Overhaul by vurt, although I think the aspen bark texture is from Realistic Overhaul. Some of vurt's stuff looks very saturated with my current preset, but he's done a great job in adding more of well-needed floral variation, and on top of that I think he's recently done great work in polishing his stuff. It's also really good to have a break from that old and tired autumnal look, gets really boring after a year or so...

Hey thanks and welcome aboard, glad you like the look. Very nice screens, the bloom in particular looks very good.

Regarding the RL beta patcher, I might be mistaken but it sounds like your folder structure is incorrect.

Thanks, really good to see new cool screens from you. You're spot-on regarding contrast and saturation, I'm really envious of some preset authors that manage to hit that sweet spot while I always seem to struggle myself. The problem I have is that I want to have quite a bit of saturation as reality is often times very saturated, but the saturation needs to be in the right spots, not all over the place. The problem gets even worse when using texture replacers as most authors who use a desaturated or tinted preset (or even worse, vanilla game) compensate for the lack of post-processing saturation by making their textures very saturated.

Re: TES Skyrim
JawZ - the last set I posted you said you could not see, due to the host I was using... using a different host for these.
... but thanks for the comments, its always good to get some feedback and suggestions... my config is always in flux, with no fixed settings, just a constant round of tweaking..... that snow looks nice BTW, I'll give it a try.
@mindflux - thanks... some areas look great with added saturation, but then, as you say, other areas, or textures do not. I think its simply impossible to find 'one config to rule them all' even with all the improvements and separations Boris has introduced, its not possible to find a perfect balance for all occasions... for me anyway.

Maybe so, but that's not going to stop me from trying No in all seriousness, I'm going to be happy if I can at least come up with some consistency.DogStar wrote:I think its simply impossible to find 'one config to rule them all'.

@ Mindflux
Why is that?
@ Dogstar
Ah yeah that's right had forgotten about that Same here, when one is looking like you wanted you walk around and find a place that look terrible with the current settings. And thats the reason why I don't use CoT or the default version of RL 3.4 or the RL 3.5, but RL 3.5 I did get some nice overall look to it though.

I mean if the patch doesn't compile. Realistic Lighting.esp needs to be in Skyrim/Data and the rest of the stuff in Data/SkyProc Patchers/Realistic Lighting. If it still doesn't compile and you have Java installed like I'm sure you have, I'm not sure what gives.

Re: TES Skyrim
There is nothing wrong with compiling with RL patcher. I just stated that the dawnguard patch that was added in RL 3.5 can't be customized with the RL Patcher and ini file. As it only recognizes/loads the Realistic Lighting.esp file
