What section of this forum should I post these questions?
Chan, "//" is a comment indicator and therefore anything appearing after "//" is ignored. Useful for adding notes to a config line and to keep a record of previous settings. In the line you quoted above, only "AmountDay=1.0" is considered by the system, the rest is ignored.

I understand comments, but in some files, it looks like a range of possible values, like steps. Just wasn't sure if it was from the programming language or not.
I think the code used in these files is HLSL correct? Anyone have a good site where I can learn more about this code, how the words are used, and what indicates computations?
Thanks, guys! Come on, I'm working on it but since I'm not a professional and barely know what I'm doing I just can't dial in the settings and call it a day, it takes a long time to find the balance I'm looking for especially as I'm also tweaking the weathers and the interiors to my liking... That said I have to admit that I'm a kind of a person that's never happy with anything so maybe my endeavors have been ill-fated from the beginning, hehe.

Thanks sir, I scourged through all the Skyrim junk I have but I couldn't find where the damn diffuse map came from. I believe I restored it from a backup folder after trying out some new textures but of course I have long since forgotten where I got it. It's huge, around 22MB, but that's doesn't really help. I'll take another, better look, though. No hair mods except for the hair textures which are from AOF Believable Hair.
