Re: TES Skyrim

I have an enbseries.ini file that has a lot of lines similar to this. How does this work?

Code: Select all

AmountDay=1.0 //0.55 1.0 0.45 //0.24 (for effect 2.1) //0.45 //0.39 //0.28 //0.48
What section of this forum should I post these questions?

Re: TES Skyrim

Kalicola you can try using sweetFX's

#define USE_LIFTGAMMAGAIN 1 //[0 or 1] Lift Gamma Gain : Adjust brightness and color of shadows, midtones and highlights (avoids clipping)

function. Anaphiel (Goddess ENB) used it to get blueish shadows.
Other than that there is only this
enbeffect.fx wrote: // HSV Equalizer settings.
// Adjust multiplier and modifier of specific color saturations. Default: 0.0
float fColorSaturationMultRed = 0.0;
float fColorSaturationMultOrange = 0.0;
float fColorSaturationMultYellow = 0.0;
float fColorSaturationMultGreen = 0.0;
float fColorSaturationMultCyan = 0.0;
float fColorSaturationMultBlue = 0.0;
float fColorSaturationMultMagenta = 0.0;
float fColorSaturationModRed = 0.0;
float fColorSaturationModOrange = 0.0;
float fColorSaturationModYellow = 0.0;
float fColorSaturationModGreen = 0.0;
float fColorSaturationModCyan = 0.0;
float fColorSaturationModBlue = 0.0;
float fColorSaturationModMagenta = 0.0;
but i dont know if that provides the effects you want.

Chan, "//" is a comment indicator and therefore anything appearing after "//" is ignored. Useful for adding notes to a config line and to keep a record of previous settings. In the line you quoted above, only "AmountDay=1.0" is considered by the system, the rest is ignored.

Also, when you going to link an image from the site, use the "Direct Link" option along with the image code for your images to show up.

I understand comments, but in some files, it looks like a range of possible values, like steps. Just wasn't sure if it was from the programming language or not.

I think the code used in these files is HLSL correct? Anyone have a good site where I can learn more about this code, how the words are used, and what indicates computations?

Re: TES Skyrim

Thanks, guys! Come on, I'm working on it but since I'm not a professional and barely know what I'm doing I just can't dial in the settings and call it a day, it takes a long time to find the balance I'm looking for especially as I'm also tweaking the weathers and the interiors to my liking... That said I have to admit that I'm a kind of a person that's never happy with anything so maybe my endeavors have been ill-fated from the beginning, hehe.

Thanks sir, I scourged through all the Skyrim junk I have but I couldn't find where the damn diffuse map came from. I believe I restored it from a backup folder after trying out some new textures but of course I have long since forgotten where I got it. It's huge, around 22MB, but that's doesn't really help. I'll take another, better look, though. No hair mods except for the hair textures which are from AOF Believable Hair.
