I really like the look of that ENB. Would you mind posting a link to it?.
It's an unreleased ENB so no link so far :) I made quite a few changes to get nights to look like they do there... and some to indoors. I think he's going to hack away at it a bit more... but pretty fantastic.

No worries mate I'm in no rush so take the time you need :)

And if you like making new characters try this mod out, if you haven't already. I have yet to try it out, as I'm currently busy with updating and fixing my ENB Guide, but it looks great.

As for your character pictures, they are amazing looking. Really good lighting you have can't believe it is acheived in Skyrim
Dude! That mod looks GREAT! I hope it's compatible with Enhanced Character Edit. (fingers crossed) Thanks for the compliment. You should try out Review Studio if you haven't already. That is really why the lighting looks good! I mean the in game prison cell lighting is fine and all, but you know how screenshots go, right lighting is EVERYTHING. Just found a good dark corner of the room is all :)

Re: TES Skyrim

Does that RaceMenu mod is compatible with custom races? I'm using a mod that makes me play as a Dremora character and I don't know if it's compatible with the the RaceMenu mod.

@--JawZ--

In the images I have turned DoF off and gotten just about the same effect as vanilla in terms of sharpness, so I know it's the DoF that's adding a slight blur to everything. The problem with it is that it's setting it's minimum blur distance to something closer than I can physically get.

Re: TES Skyrim

@ Buster Hymen

Isn't there a command that controls the blur in the DoF version you are using? if so try lowering that value until the sharpness comes back in the center.

By the way what enbeffectprepass are you using? It would help if I knew what enbeffectprepass you are using, so I can try it out myself and see if I can get the effect you want. Also so I know what commands there are in it that controls the DoF. Im giving you advice blindly here nore or less as it is now ;)

@--JawZ--

I was using SuperbENB with the latest version of ENB. I'm giving a couple others a shot right now after seeing some pretty amazing effects in this thread. Thanks for your help! Let me know if you find anything.

This is awesome! Enhanced Character Edit does work with RaceMenu -

Code: Select all

i solved my problem, i had racemenuplugin.esp active along with racemenu.esp. enhanced character works well with this, only thing not working is the zoom feature but evrything else is perfect thanks, ur the best:)
Thanks again JawZ! This will really add to the possibilities for character creation!

Let me share a gem I found the other day

-Sex change crash Workaround

This mod prevents any CTD's that occur from too many hair mods being installed. Use this only if you are creating female characters. By default the race menu will open up to a female breton. If you want a different race, you have to tap the up or down arrow (W, S key) quickly right before the race menu appears. Tapping up and down quickly will allow you to cycle thru the race you want before any textures load for the hair thus preventing a CTD. I also use Alternate Start - Live Another Life to immediately open a new game to the race menu. I'm not sure how well a regular new game start would work for this process. I suppose right as the Imperial guard says "Who are you?" that would be the queue to start tapping the up or down key. Or in most cases, W or S.

Hope that all made sense. I know you didn't ask for this, but others who are looking to create unique female characters might save themselves a headache by following those steps. :)

Thanks again!
