Hi, everyone
Like probably lot pf people, i had the flashing bug since 310.70 nvidia update.
Im not talking about the blue/green flashing bug but the one where you have a change of brightness at every move resulting in a flashing effect.
First, my config
i7-920 - gtx460 - 6gb1600mhz - w7 64 - asus p6t
Enb used: The Wilds 3.0
Solution:
Open enbeffect.fx with notepad and go line 418 (in "the wilds" otherwise search for this line), you will see:
r1.xyz = lerp( min( 0.28, r1.xyz ), 0.5, hnd ); // Ligthen if dark, but do not darken if too light, we do this elsewhere for extreme bright situations
Delete this line
Profits !! Enjoy 310.70 performance gain
Hope other peoples will try to confirm, but no more Flashing / flickering for me
Seem to work with any ENB that where flickering for me
Off course this line is not the 418 in every enbeffect.fx

Re: nvidia 310.70 flickering/flashing bug SOLVED
I can confirm this works for the Superb 1.10 ENB (Also using the latest 0.126 wrapper version). I was pulling my hair out trying to find the solution, and I stumbled across this last night. It usually happened when I was looking at the map or in a shadowy area, but ONLY when I had the FPS Limiter on (both ENB version AND NvidiaInspector, but just to clarify I never had BOTH on at the same time lol). It didn't matter how high or low my FPS was set to either, the flashing would persist. If I enabled the WaitBusyRenderer the flashing would go away (with the ENB and Nvidia Inspector FPS Limiters enabled OR disabled) but my FPS would drop. This solution worked like a charm. Thank you

Thanks a lot!

I registered just to thank you for this post. Commenting that line out has entirely removed the flickering from my game. I am not sure exactly what that line does, because I ran around testing the brightness with it on and off, and I personally couldn't see any difference. But it sure is great that I can now use the more recent ENB versions! (The ones pre-121212 or so do not have the flickering for me)

Great it works.
Only thing is: If you are diving under water - there is no more the blurry effect. (but it's a minor thing and I'm actually never diving because I hate it in skyrim ) ^^

Here's another fix in case the one in the main post didn't work (as in my case) - currently working on Nvidia GTX 780Ti, GeForce 332.21 Driver -
Open enblocal.ini and then set EnableVSync=true in "[ENGINE]"
Turning WaitBusyRenderer=true helps to reduce the flickering if you don't want to set EnableVSync on true.
ENB current version: enbseries_skyrim_v0250 + ENBoost 5_0-38649-5-0 - for NVIDIA_videocard/3Gb_VRAM - (find it here)
This is the problem I had:

I hope it will fix your problem too ( I created an account here just to share this solution).
