Wondrous shots.
The last one is amazingly mesmerizing.

MindFlux
 I know this pain as well
I intentionally f***ed ' toobright ' instead of dealing with it or commenting it.

Samuraï
On a more serious note, I'll second MindFlux here : further keys to adaptation lie in effect.fx if not enough via inis.
But this surely is one of the most picky thing to deal with, depending on what you're up to.

Oyama
At one point, I had 'toobright' working the other way around, i.e. brightening the screen even further in snowy areas to compensate for adaptation  Didn't work out too well.

mindflux wrote:Ahah, know your pain... Have you set EnableAdaptation to false? Also if you're using HD6 enbeffect.fx, comment out the two lines in enbeffect.fx with toobright.

Other than that there's still the vanilla adaptation if you're using original game color correction, I think there was a mod over at Nexus to reduce its intensity.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh yes much much better.
The toobrigth thingy was the culprit. I'll probably be hanged from the next tree for saying this, but i just had to disable it in K ENB.
Thanks for the heads up!

If the vanilla game adaptation is disabled, do te EAdaptationMin / Max values still work (while toobright is commented out)?
Cause now it seems adaptation is off alltogether from commenting these 2 lines. This is exactly what i wanted, however im just curious about the inner workings of adaptation.

@Kyo
Please save your sanity and disable the comments for K ENB! Dont want you to get pissed and stop tweaking.

Hi!
Been lurking around this thread for some time now - absolutely amazing stuff. Boris's invention makes me spend way too much time with Skyrim ;) Wanted to share some K ENB shots - awesome setup, Oyama!

Good going, great to hear you got it sorted out. Yes, EAdaptationMin/Max values will work given that EnableAdaptation is set to true regardless of whether original color correction (with vanilla adaptation) or that 'toobright' bit of code is disabled. Basically, the 'toobright' thingy just performs a very simple brightness increase whenever brightness goes below a set value, and code-wise it doesn't interact with the standard ENB adaptation in no way whatsoever.

As for the standard ENB adaption, Min basically determines how bright the screen will become when looking into shadows (lower is brighter), Max how dark the screen will become when looking into light (higher is darker). The values is enbseries.ini can be left to defaults as long as you keep ForceMinMaxValues as false.

So, the trolling started already? Nice.

Nevermind, I lost my sanity long ago   The day I started tweaking toobright
Thanx ! ;)

mindflux
One day, we should start writing memories about crazy experimentations
Chapter 1 : the day I inverted shadows
Chapter 2 : the day I had black clouds
Chapter 3 : the day I had my moon in daytime
And so on...

Yeah...trolling just started.... 20 hours after uploading. Trolls used to be faster, times are changing I tell you ! Maybe they took an arrow in the knee

Thank you for these top-shots ;) ;) Always fantastic to see our own setups in other hands ! ;)

Re: TES Skyrim

Whenever I start Skyrim in Full screen, the color and brightness is a little off and is far too dark on menu's etc. When I run it in windowed mode everything is fine. Anyway of solving this?

Re: TES Skyrim

in-game brightness settings doesn't affect windowed mode. perhaps you just need to turn the brightness up in full screen?

Re: TES Skyrim

Still far too dark in menus/inventory etc. Something aint right cos the screen will change gamma occasionally in game, like it's trying to use the desktop settings. Also happens when I take a screenshot.

Infact, if I adjust the brightness in game, the next time I load the game it completely screws it up :|
