Re: TES Skyrim 0.143
I read it. I think you should add the option if it's possible, even if it's a performance hit. Could just make it checkable like Depth of Field etc? Easy to manage in GUI for people who struggle for performance then, they could just Shift+Enter and disable it.ENBSeries wrote:Isn't that so hard to read my posts above???
On a whim, would it be possible to tie it in with point lighting intensity somehow?
Could always throw up an experimental version and see how people get on with it. Part of the fun with ENB is making things work that don't hehe. Just be sure to put up a disclaimer that smoking GPU's are at the users own risk.

Unreal Warfare
Grass subsurface scattering can't be toggled off without reloading the game, by performance reasons (cpu bottleneck). And only those lights which affect grass may generate sss, if it not lit by tourch or something like that, any fixes will make performance worse in times for mods with lot of grass. Videocards evolve very slow because of video memory bandwidth and sss for grass is exactly that type of problem, after 5 years passed it will work only two times faster with high end gpu than with current generation high end models (and if to take in count some rediculous euro "green" law about limiting video memory bandwidth by classes of hardware, grass will always be slow).

Re: TES Skyrim 0.143
2nd and 3rd beta version still have same problem like this.
Test location: around "Fort Dawnguard"
Normal situation:
Big area of shadow suddenly appears about 0.3 or 0.5 second only:
It happens randomly when the character stands near building or small mountain like my picture. It only happens in v0.143. Maybe our members should test together

Re: TES Skyrim 0.143
Having problems Alt Tabbing to change my enbeffect.fx file. Game just black screens when I try to Alt Tab back in. I would like to make clear it is only with 0.143 installed that I have this issue.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.143
I am not refusing to update Boris, I just see you are making a lot of big changes over a short period, many of which completely change how settings react, and so I have just decided to hold off until a new landmark has been established.
I have been watching your progress closely however, and will absolutely jump in and remake my config as soon as these last couple minor bugs are tweaked. v0.144 is the version I'm looking forward to starting over on.
Keep up the excellent work, my friend.
