@Joey4Track, Propa, Kalicola and SrtatonAce
All AMAZING work!! I would use all of your configs in a hearbeat!
@Kalicola - You see, you can't give up... Just look how beautiful this shot is...
Are these settings the same for both? Is it just a different time of day, or is more bloom added to the second one?
Also, your nights look perfect in contrast. You're twisting my arm here dude! I may have to part with my current ENB.
As for me... Here is a finished custom hair coloring I worked up for Lordarion76. (sorry for the huge screenshots, I didn't take them)

Re: TES Skyrim
Far327: Thanks.. It can be a bit depressing when I feel like my config is getting worse everytime I change a setting right I hope to finish my config very soon, as I really want to play the game through soon.
Those two pics are using the same setting but different time of day, it does look like different bloom settings, but I think it's the adaptation that is doing the work here. I have fairly dark shadows, which makes the adaptation work harder. And big white clouds combinded with brightend adaptation when alot of shadows makes the bright parts of the image even brighter, making it look like the bloom is increased.. Well, that's my guess
Nights are difficult to get right I think, I need them fairly bright if I don't want to ruin foggy or rainy weather. And btw, foggy and rainy weather is SOOO defficult to get right without destoying the nights. Any tricks to make nights and rainy/foggy weather play well together is very welcome

Re: TES Skyrim
i second the above, in a perfect world there would be settings for every weathertype/interior lol.kalicola wrote: And btw, foggy and rainy weather is SOOO defficult to get right without destoying the nights. Any tricks to make nights and rainy/foggy weather play well together is very welcome

Re: TES Skyrim
Your shadows look more crisp in your recent shots, or maybe I just started taking notice... IDK. Me personally, adaption is annoying. It's already bad enough my TV feels the need to adapt during certain lighting (I tried turning the setting off, but still happens) Once I try it out, I might just kill adaption, hope you don't take offense. As for tips, I'm not really useful regarding configs for ENBs. As you probably already know, I just download others and do minor adjustments so that it looks better for my monitor/TV. But yeah, in the past I just thought your config to be too bloomy, however a lot of players like bloom so it' something I should just adjust on my own... Or get use to. It seems a bit more balanced lately though. What version ENB are you basing from currently?kalicola wrote:Far327: Thanks.. Oh and TairenSoul created this custom warpaint / scare for my Gatsu Berserk character. I will likely create a normal map for it so it has some depth into the skin.

Re: TES Skyrim
Thanks far327! And I agree with you about about kali
Kali, my biggest issue with your last beta was that the nights were way too bright but it looks like this new beta is much darker. I know it's a pain and I know that my own nights are pretty dark and that makes fog/cloudy weather darker but for me it's the better sacrifice. Brighter nights feel way more unnatural to me than dark stormy/foggy weather. Anyway, your shots look awesome and if you need a tester for beta 98, hit me up

Re: TES Skyrim
Looks good Kali nice to see your still working away.
to lighten shadows increase the ambient lighting a bit. that way you won't have to really touch bloom. but also have a play with direct and ambient curves really do have to test more than a few times but sure you will end up with something your happy with. as far as nights go you should be ok to keep how you like but just tweak the fog curve's. say if you put night curve to say 2.0 it will be dark at night. I'm not 100% but i think the weather grabs the curve from day and night so if its foggy or raining during the day it will use the fog curve for day and if it's night whilst raining or foggy it will use nights curve. I'll try and test but not used the weather.asi since this install.

Re: TES Skyrim
I have been running the game without ENB for some time now but firing it up with the latest ENB binary tonight made me realize once again what I guess is obvious - it's damn amazing what Boris has managed to do. He's just one guy with no vast resources, but considering the amount and complexity of the effects he has implemented without access to sources AND their outstanding quality, it's unbelievable really.
Sorry for the rant, carry on. I'll go on hovering around my character.
