@Eat-Thy-Figs:
Thanks for letting me know about that ENB!
PS. I can never get SweetFX to look right for me, but that's probably because I enable all the wrong effects.

Hey, Midhras. I'd be willing to try out your ENB, but where do I get the link?

Evil gnome, uh oh
To anyone interested I have made a new postprocessing method that is compatible with Fallout 3/New vegas and Skyrim, it is posted in the user effects section. If anyone who tries it could give me feedback on either version I would greatly appreciate it!

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
I tried to use it, but it just wasn't for my set up. It just made everything dark and I would have had to tweak a bunch to get it to work. Other than that, keep up the good work! (I think you just set the exposure too high is all.)

Alright, thank you for the feedback. Just curious, did you have adaptation on? Anyway I appreciate very much that you gave it a try and I will work on making better default values and thank you for the encouragement.

You're very welcome, and yes. I do have adaptation on. (I don't even know what it does.)

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
Adaptation darkens the screen based on original brightness, however mine also increases contrast a bit, so that may be why it looked overexposed. I would be very curious to know if it was fixed when you turn off adaptation if you still have the file, it would help me know if I should redo my adaptation controls. No pressure though

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
Thank you so much. Also, if you have enough time to share your enbseries.ini with me somehow it would help me find out how well my controls work with non default ini's other than mine, but again it is up to you. I would of course not post it anywhere or use it as my own. I haven't had much feedback yet, you are one of the first to try and let me know so I really am thankful, whatever you do.
