Thanx for updating, Boris.ENBSeries wrote:jonasb

Do you mean that your latest binary may be incompatible with additional dlls, such as SweetFX a/o SMAA ?
Or do you mean Overclocking tools and such ?
I had the same message as well, but the game did launch with no issues at all. Can we simply ignore it ?

I did changes to the code which display shader compilation errors (original game shaders modified) for debugging purposes. Don't have it on my pc or don't know where it appear, may be it's dlc dependent or something else, but it's definetly must to be fixed, because if such message appear, performance will be much lower when object with bad shader is rendered (and it's visually buggy). First of all, the text on that message important for me, if that shader number exist on my version, then posible to fix, otherwise it's dlc or other mod related. Second, try to remove all other d3d9 based mods and overlay/overclocking software and let me know if error dissapeared.

Interesting, Fraps has worked before (But it's understandable that recent changes to ENB could have altered that.) and should be the only thing hooking the D3D9 API or well I'm not sure how this works technically so I'll just try again with Fraps turned off this time.

Boris
Removed SweetFX dll, and ran my GPUs without any overclock.
No additional dlls, no third party tools, still got this message.
BTW, it appears when you run Skyrim launcher for renderer recognition, then each time you launch the game.
It doesn't seem to affect anything once in game, but maybe it affects performance, don't know.
Overall, keeping same values than with .155, 1 to 3 FPS better.
I'm running Dawnguard and DragonBorn dlcs, and * NO * image space modifiers for lighting or weather.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.157
I got this message whenever I launched while the program RadeonPro was running (it's like nvidia inspector, uses a d3d9 api hook), and the game would either display a black screen while using the injector, or it wouldn't finish launching and would just get stuck at the desktop with the TESV.exe process still running. The issue and message went away when exiting RadeonPro, and the game can launch, however it did not have this problem (or any problem) in version 0.155. I tried turning on SkipShaderOptimization and turning off the speedhack, still did not allow me to use radeonpro. I didn't see any other info from the error message besides what was already posted.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.157
I have no problems. Launching from SKSE, all DLC content enabled and using SweetFX.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.157
I had this problem as well. I was using EVGA On-Screen Display Server. Just had to stop monitoring while playing skyrim and the ENB started up fine.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.157
Definetly i can't test with software which work only with specific videocards, so if you guys may suggest something for my winxp and geforce9600, i'll test (but only freeware tools).
If chan don't have issues with dlc installed, this means they do not affect or message appear only in some game areas. Otherwise it's mod or preset dependent. Please post your skyrimprefs.ini and enbseries.ini with brief list of mods (parallax f.e.), text of error message (shader name "pshXXXXXXXX.txt").
