Re: TES Skyrim
Dare I say it ... 2 Titans. I got a good tax return this year for taking care of a family member. they downsample great too 30 - 40 fps @3840x2160. But they visual quality of native 1920x1080 with 8x sgss @ a smooth 60fps trumps 2160p @30ish fps IMO.kalicola wrote:Far327: which graphics card are you using? @--JawZ-- haha u beat me to it! But yeah I was asking about your EWE.

Re: TES Skyrim
It pays to be good in other words Damn that was a good performance with the downsampling involved but if I recall you mentioned that SLI didn't actually have any benefit when it came to ENB, correct? or did that fix with your driver and BIOS fixes??
I'm having problems with cloud layer rendering again, you can see the bug in the last picture I just posted in the upper right corner.
I downloaded my latest EWE Alpha file I uploaded here to see if it's in that too, if not I will start implementing the rest of the Clear weathers and some minor tweaks to the already covered Clear weathers, then move on to the cloudy, then foggy, snowy and then the storm weathers I think I will do it in that order.

Re: TES Skyrim
Exactly, the tweaked bios fixed the issue. Apparently Titan suffers from throttling. Kinda like a governor on an automobile. A. Keep the card quiet / cool
B. Limit RMAs
C. Just to be dicks!
But basically what was happening was in order to keep the card cool / quiet the bios was made to lower the clock speed of the card dynamically. Thing was it did a HORRIBLE job of intelligently doing this. Thank god some gurus on the Overclock.net forums no a thing or two about GPU bios tweaks. Lots of bios tweaks removed throttle issue. Ever since I updated the bios and started using Nvidia 314.22 drivers, I saw a 20 - 30 FPS increase! So, SLi works like a charm now!!
Anyways, please hit me up as soon as you feel like you are satisfied with your EWE project. I wish I knew more on the subject to help out. Seems you are getting some great input from others here though

Re: TES Skyrim
I don't like any such dynamic change and I always deactivate such features if possible. Good to hear they did something right for a change with their driver update then
I used an older file that had that problem No wonder it looked different from the last time I did some tweaks for it
The proper version is working as it should, but I would like to know what was causing that issue so that I might better prepare for it if it would ever happen again.

Well, the driver update didn't cure it. The tweaked bios did though. The driver update seemed to help boost the average low FPS.--JawZ-- wrote:I don't like any such dynamic change and I always deactivate such features if possible. Soolie might know something, you think? Seems he is doing some interesting stuff with clouds lately. Or maybe hlvr ? IDK, but I wish you the best on this project! Looks VERY promising.

Re: TES Skyrim
Ok then I know about that, as long as it works better than it did before it really doesn't matter how it is done
I have a couple of theories about the issue with inproper cloud rendering, but they have yet to be tested and proven. Thanks a lot
And here are some pictures with the proper EWE file;
The color here that is in the "air" sort of speak feels a bit off to me, will adjust the RGB coloring better now that I have a proper calibrated monitor in front of me

Re: TES Skyrim
Does somebody know of a Mod which can save the Camera state maybe ?
Found a interesting render Performance and Visual Impact behavior between ENB and Nvidia Drivers Aniso
Also i guess i will be able to avoid Sweetfx overhead we'll see but so far it looks good

Re: TES Skyrim
Hey guys, it's been a while, nice to see that ENB is still going strong. First things first, thanks Boris for the new features you've implemented, I really appreciate it!
And to everyone else you're doing a great job, there is a huge difference in quality since I left, you guys actualy made me reinstall Skyrim, although I don't have much spare time left, studiyng takes up most of my time :/
Anyway I'll try to visit this thread more frequently again and maybe even finish my weather overhaul since there isn't that much left to do and while we're at it @Jaws: Don't make the same mistake I did, don't focus too much on certain weather types, you'll won't be satisfied with them and rework them over and over again to the point where you just lose your motivation. At least that was the case for me + the lack of free time.
Well, like I said I hope to drop by more frequently again, keep it up guys!
p.s.: sorry for not replying to pms, I dind't check for messages for at least 4 months, really sorry :/
