Re: TES Skyrim

My mistake :P

You got a good pair of eyes for recapturing the look from that image.

EDIT;

For anyone interested and using my altered .fx files I have uploaded my latest work with them over at my ENB Resources thread.

@insomnia_jt - ^^ Reminds me of the beginning of 300 where the boy kills the wolf in the opening scene. Great shots dude! ^^

Oyama , Confidence-Man , Zero King ... WTF guys? Looks SOOO GOOD!! :shock:

Confidence-Man, I wish I had your *confidence... man.* :lol: Lighting is perfecto!! :D

Any new tricks you all are working with? It seems I've fallen behind the curve here. Amazing what you miss if you don't read every page each day now. LOL!

Oh and Unreal - She is gorgeous! I really like the lighting changes as well. Seems you have done something unique there. ;)

@Kalicola - that shot from Seasons of Skyrim looks AMAZING!! I'm gonna have to go check that one out.
BTW, looking forward to your release on Nexus! I'm sure you'll get a ALOT of endorsements. Just watch out for those mangy monkies... :mrgreen:

Re: TES Skyrim

@Confidence-Man - awesome shots! Really liking what you have done with the lighting in them, skies are awesome!

@Oyama - always like your shots, great moods and color. Very nice.

@insomnia - very nice work, the noise grain is an interesting touch.

@Geo - lovely young lady you put together there, looks great (as usual)!

I decided to try putting together a more clear weather (well at least push the fog out somewhat further) and see what happened, here are some early samples.

Thanks ! But this is only a on-the-fly tweak, so it's easier to get better results.

Confidence-Man wrote:That's a neat look saltr. Might look cool with the Borderlands-like edge effect that some people used a long time ago.

I love this one, did you release that preset? reminds me the opethfeldt's one.

Re: TES Skyrim

Correct me if I'm wrong Confidence-Man, but aren't you still using v0.119? Not knocking you if you are, I still very much LOVE that binary!

@Unreal - well regardless I am a fan of your work sir! :) BIG TIME!

insomnia_jt:

EDIT:

Done some more work on the EWE mod weather module.

Vanilla SkyrimClearRE without ENB. Trying to achieve this look with enb enabled as I quite like the look :)

I used 1.0 values for the sky and fog here. those are test and CK tweak values only. Also this is the only weather type that I have altered where I have applied Skyrim's own DoF effect. That is really necessary for fog to look good in my experience of testing it off and on and with different values, I of course don't apply it to the sky ;)

Things I myself think should be improved upon;

Fog intensity, lower it a bit more in the middle of vanilla and the EWE picture I think would be good.

Lower the sunlight intensity slightly.

Blend the far and near fog a bit better to get rid of that bright fog line and have it look more like it's "building up" to a denser fog.

Re: TES Skyrim

I should know better than to edit my old posts :P

As always Oyama very good looking set of pictures.

The fire shot was very good looking by the way and the forest picture made me want to take a stroll in that forest :)
