Re: TES Skyrim

@zeroking- Yeah, Skyrim pretty much ruined the Nexus. And it happened very quickly after it came out, I was actually kinda shocked. I remember the good ol days when you had no mod manager and had to actually read text files and follow simple directions. thnk gahd i hve teknologi to do all ma thinkin fer me

sry my spellchek ain't working ;)

And sorry for no pics, I'm quitting Skyrim. At least until Confidence Man, Gionight or Mindflux release their configs(which may never even happen!) After 1 1/2 years of tweaking enb I still can't get what I'm going for and I have wasted entirely too much time and emotional equilibrium fiddling with it but that's ok, I am having so much fun playing Don't Starve atm anyway :mrgreen:

Re: TES Skyrim

@joey4track - sorry to see you go... :(

OhKay - Great shot a couple pages back. You know I'm a fan of your work.

Modd31 - Excellent shots! Nice config too!

@Confidence Man - IDK, I liked your older stuff better. Those shots seemed like the contrast was a bit deep IMO. But the metallic shine on objects is really cool!

@Unreal- Hottie!!

@EVO - Haven't seen you in a while, but I've been here and there too. Nice shots!

@Forest - Fabulous shots!

@Guzio - really great moody config man!

@mindflux - Dude, that's like the first shot I've seen from you in a LONG while! Looks awesome btw!

Rubba - that shot with dragon is bad ass!

Almost finished with this latest config... This will be my last for this style. I think I said that before but... yah... sorry for the LONG post.

Re: TES Skyrim

@joey4track - Thanks a lot dude! Haha, I knew you couldn't leave... Curious, which version did you try? Also, if you haven't yet, Kalicola's ENB is pretty fantastic! ;)

I know what you mean even though I haven't tweaked for that long :o I just found out about enb around 4 months ago but I'm feeling the same way. I keep tweaking but I still haven't been able to get it the way I want it. It's funny, I was just thinking the other day that I should name my preset after the U2 song I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For :lol:

Re: TES Skyrim

@far- 3.1 it's really fantastic. I like the days in particular. Yeah and kali's is really great too, it's crazy how distinct and unique enb can be, I think its truly an awesome artform- and Boris, you should be proud!!! :lol:

@symphonicjohn- It's pretty much like looking for the white whale. And looking for a whale is pretty exhausting(i can only speculate)

Well here are a few shots i guess :|

Getting some color borders here in the sky. Think it's the curve that causes it. :(

Thanks, appreciated. To be honest I don't care much for screenshots, not for my own anyway, because they're always very uninteresting - boring compositions, and always the same bald character and stuff. Quite frankly, you guys do it much better than I do.

Wehee, old buddy! And thanks, I've simply been too busy with everything else to tweak my ENB or even do much commenting. I've still been following the thread, of course, and by the looks of it, your ENB already seems very impressive. The tones, green and brown, are just brilliant. And I just love the 'white' screenshot by the way, very unique, and what a nice harmony.

joey4track
Sorry, it's been a while :D At some point I more or less realized that I'm never going to get all the weathers modified to my liking so I more or less gave up... Even today my ENB looks decent only under very specific weather and lighting conditions, so it pretty much sucks as far getting any actual gameplay value out of it is considered. Would hate to see you go, though, you've been an integral part of the community for so long. I guess I look into tweaking ENB more as a hobby as such, like Dinkledorf once mentioned it's more about the process, not the result. Of course it's still the same for me as well, I'm probably never going to make Skyrim look like I'd want to, but I'm still having good time and learning at the same time.

Good stuff, everyone else as well!

Uh, I seriously need to check out some new mods. Someone want to suggest a nice looking character save?

Re: TES Skyrim

Maybe someone find it's interesting, apply two different contrast on the same color and as result use only brighter one
