Re: TES Skyrim
I swear.. some NPC are just put into the game to make any character the player makes looks good

This one is pretty funny. It is hard to tell with so much compression but Lydia and my character are standing under an umbrella, feeling slightly uncomfortable by the looks on their faces. And that guard has an all telling smirk on his face

Tried to show some of the amazing detail you can get with some modifications to the game

Re: TES Skyrim
saltr - I have to agree with JawZ' comment...Great shot
JawZ - That's a lot of tweaks But it does look good for just being Bethesda HD textures.
ZeroKing - Well from the looks of your config you know more than me But maybe that means you've come to a place where you are finished tweaking...or do we ever come to that place
Rem_NL - Yeah I know what you mean about the NPC's. If I had the ability I would redo most of the NPC's in the game. And what's with the children, did they all have the same father, they all look the same

Rem_NL:
Not to mention the duplicity of the NPC's, just look at my "Twins" picture I posted earlier.
symphonicjohn:
Thanks Well then you should see the preset I'm going to do after I get the sunrises and nights more complete with ELE, then there will be A lot of tweaks involved I had everything in the enbeffect.fx disabled except 4 things vanilla bloom and adaptation, vanilla PP and the palette code.
And another set of impressive shots from you as well I see
A couple more from me also.
ENB Off
ENB On
Vanilla - the black "spots" in the cloud is the sky color, yeah it's that bad.
ELE - I Need to adjust the Directional Ambient color in this weather slightly.
ELE - Still working on the Dragonsreach Light Bulbs so expect imrpovments.
ELFX + Enhancer
ELFX + ELE - Imagespaces
ELFX visual "bug", at least to me it is. light from the wall.
Bare in mind that I'm not trying to be realistic with my Light Bulb changes I'm trying to improve the vanilla look for the better, placements fixes, color correction, flicker correction etc. So for those who prefer ELFX over my changes the rest of ELE is compatible just so you know

Detail is only a small part of what you need though
@Ohkay
Could be maybe some issue with the IBL, though rather strange that it would only affect 1 texture ?
Seems also night settings play into this
im currently also trying to fix a bug in my setup with the environment rendering my lods are ugly as hell of the distant trees like they don't get updated either i did some really crazy skyrimprefs.ini thing or it's a bug of a old vurts version or lod mod i use
Best in such situations for debugging is to keep those stuff as test sequences that's how i do it i have several 100 of test sequences that i regularly check when i do some change though they where all created for NPC rendering so i never realized this lod bug anyways, except now that i moved on to environment rendering i realized this issue pretty fast.
I realized here that something fishy is going on with my current setup, now i have to painfully find out what is causing this in the chain of things involved
What i also realized there are some light conditions which seem to slow down the whole rendering even without any features like SSAO enabled or even detailed shadows i really wonder what causes these brakedowns, especially @ the sunrise times.

@CruNcher,
No offence, but you're posting this on the wrong thread.
