Re: TES Skyrim

Nice screenshots @ all!
Would like to give examples, but there a too much of em since I've had a football fever the last days.

@bronze, like your avatar. In my childhood I've always watched wrestling (Stone Cold, The Rock, Undertaken, Hart brothers and so on) when my parent went to the theatre :D

Last pic somehow reminds me of mass effect, dunno if it's the armor, the facial expression or the lightning.

Looks great keep that Gameplay view it shows so much more of the overall results then a close fov, though how comes you more getting into a filmic look then high gamma one ? from your other Realvision results, everything has lost a lot of saturation :)

You switch really seamlessly between the light states i never saw someone doing this :)

i mean this is far apart from you current overall saturation results :)

it's very impressive seeing someone doing this with 1 ENB preset only based on the TOD or weather difference or did you entirely changed your ENB from it's base settings after you took these high saturation shoots ?

It's like you switching between Video and Film with the same assets really great and so damn consistent :)

I haven't seen anyone post the Trillville ENB in a while. It's a great piece of work! Post more!! About that last shot, it's the armor.

The Light looks great though does the Half Face in Shadow comes from the Hair Mesh ? would disable detail shadows light it up ?

Funnily i see that in Ohkays Results too and i guess it's the Hair Mesh that absorbs the light and creates a shadow where no shadow should be in theory ?

Re: TES Skyrim

@CruNcher,

Thanks! It's not from the hair mesh, there aren't any light sources on that side. Those are real shadows, and it looks alot better when in fullscreen 1080p. My contrast pitch is at a black-point (99.9% accurate), so the detailed shadows doesn't matter too much in this lighting.

I wish I could've gotten a shot at night in the same location to compare. It looks like a real haunted house! :o :lol:

Yes but i find this effect really odd as the Face definitely should not be in such a dark shadow in such a high ambient light condition it feels plain odd it looks nice effect wise but it feels wrong physically wise, i sometimes disable detailed shadows and it helps letting the light to parts where it should naturally light up the texture but is blocked by geometry such as the hairs or object meshes.

The same if you stand outside in the Light in a Shadow it becomes crazy dark in the Face and Body even if the light is almost burning you down it feels odd :(

Re: TES Skyrim

@CruNcher,

Go to that location and run some tests on the lighting/sources. They are not perfect there.....this is Skyrim we're talking about remember??? :roll: :lol:

I'm curious to see how the ELE - Imagespaces will affect it, but I'll wait until JawZ finishes up there. ;)

Hey --JawZ--, I'll reply on your ELE page. This thread is not supposed to get too technical. Saving it for the screenies. :P

Re: TES Skyrim

* Moved to ELE thread // JawZ

To sum it up there will only be detail changes done with the ELE Skyrim - Imagespace in the future so it is more or less ready to be taken in for full integration with your ENB preset.

And the shadows without ENB is either on or off basically, no real smooth transition based on the illumination. Too bad Skylighting isn't possible for interiors or IBL. Was IBL to be added to interiors though or am I remembering wrong here?
