Thanks, hence mission accomplished! But you (yes, especially you) know, the devil is in the details... :lol:

It is and glad it wasn't a "mission impossible" :lol: True that, speaking of which I will soon try to implement your Snow FX and see how it can look with my weather changes I have in mind for the snowy weathers :)

Aha, if you have any ideas that you think I could help with by developing Snow FX, just let me know and I'll give (well, try to...) my proverbial hand :P

I will keep that in mind when I tackle the snowy weathers and see of any additions or improvements, if there are any :)

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB

I did new variable for fire which allow to use smooth blending instead of additive. This patch separating fire from non fire objects by setting additive alpha blending to fire only, but fire real world "blending mode" is not additive, that's why game fire looks white when it's density too high. May be modified fire particles work better now with this mod and my next update? I see good changes only to few types of particles like fire from magic skills, but dragon breath looks the same.
Here are comparison screens, brighter is current additive fire, darker is smooth blending

Thanks Boris, looks very promising. I guess there could something weird going on with some of the objects and that's why they're not affected, but I will check.

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB

Okay, in recently updated 0.172 new parameter AdditiveBlending for fire is added, turn it off and fire will be set to srcblend=srcalpha, destblend=destalpha like other particles.

Boris;

That new parameter looks to create a good looking effect Boris. Seems to me it will be a bit easier to get intense yet colorful fires without making the texture of it to blow into "blinding white".

Mindflux;

Found another bright object in the shadows for you, if you're interested.

I found it while working on the Dragonborn Light bulbs and Imagespace esp files for ELE inside the Ben Kongerike Great hall / DLC2BenKongerike02. It also resides in Sinderion's Field Laboratory / BlackreachZCell10

Critters\Bee\BeeHoneycomb.nif - This was the path to it in the CK.

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB

Yep, the new parameter sounds very useful - I have been manually fiddling with the fire meshes to prevent blowing out, so it's a boon.

Thanks, nice catch! I'm always interested. I'll take a look, haven't really spent that much time with Dragonborn yet so it's about the time.
