Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 06/27

Oh, Power Big Meet! I've always wanted to go. Have gone everywhere else! Got a '56 Bel Air ...

Sorry I haven't been around to test stuff lately, been caught up with work and The Witcher lately! Sad to hear you won't be able to continue your work for a while, but priorities are priorities! Hope everything works well for you. :D

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 06/27

You should visit it sometime it's a lot of fun even for non car enthusiast's :)
Only had one issue with it this year, some bastard stole my last batch of beers (or so I thought) and I became pretty damn mad because of it. Luckily I found my last 3rd case of beers on the last night cruise :)

No problemo mate ;), No I won't be I just have to, like I said take some time on other things in life before continuing on with this. Finding a new job is one of them.

I haven't done any work at all since I returned and it will be like that for a while still, as I mentioned before I have other things, more important things to take care of now.

No I have not, only made the Skyrim imagespace module have the same visual as the Dragonborn imagespace module so they won't differ to much in the end.

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 06/27

I had this pretty nice review typed out of my experience with ELE. Unfortunately my browser crashed on my iPad and I lost all of it.

After some time trying to get ELE to play nice with my already saturated preset, I finally managed the proper balance IMO. I am REALLY impressed with ELE! It's completely enhanced the visuals of my game. Magic effects, colors, lighting and luminescence are just beautiful! My Skyrim has never looked this visually stunning in all the time I've been tweaking ENB and stuff. I really appreciate all the time and hard work you've put into this project --JawZ--. Like Boris, you should except donations of some sort as I feel your hard work is deserving.

Keep in mind this is all Vanilla resources except my character's race (Lovergirl race) and the HD fire texture. Other than that, I am using ENB bloom, detailed shadows, depth of field and Luma Sharpening from SweetFX. I am using Nvidia AO (High Quality thru Nvidia Inspector) 8x multisampling (Skyrim AA) 8x sparse grid super sampling (Nvidia Inspector)

This has made an impact on my FPS. (avg 30FPS) But it's still playable and just breathtaking in person to see.

Here a couple shots with ELE I conjured last night. Unfortunately these aren't uncompressed so the darker shots may look like 16-bit coloring, but still it looks AMAZING!

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 06/27

Too bad, an extensive review is always nice to receive than the more common "it looks good, but I have a problem... *user goes away without explanation*" But your post here is as good too ;)

Glad to hear that it works so good for you, once you got the hang of how to adjust it with your preset :)
I'm a big fan of natural lighting and that is what I'm trying to implement with my ELE mod. I'm not trying to make some smancy fancy effects with lots of contrast and bloom effects, I leave that to ENB, SweetFX or any other visual render program that the end users can use and implement to ELE.
Neither am I saying or trying to create realistic lighting as it's not possible in this engine, one can try but you will in the end fail. What I would call this is camera realistic lighting if anything and it would also be a more proper way as it's like looking through a camera when you are playing a game, both use digital images. I could go on here about that but I feel that it's unnecessary.

Bob Holmes has become somewhat of an Idol (for lack of a better word) for me when it comes to photography as he focus on capturing only natural lighting with his images whether it be a landscape or portrait they are amazing. He has inspired me to become better at capturing images with natural lighting which I use to create the weathers found in ELE.

I use a complete vanilla Skyrim not even the HD pack from Bethesda when working with ELE as I think that will make it more all around good for most of the mods out there that changes textures. And the ENB preset I use don't have in it's default state any effects activated, only when I'm working with Directional Ambient values I use Skylighting to see how my changes to the DA values look.

Your captures are gorgeous :D You've taken ELE to the next step ;)

Finally which ELE version did you use? the one I uploaded last is my latest and in my own opinion best looking weathers I have changed in that one. And that is how the general weathers will look in future versions.

As for the donations I won't accept any such thing, I believe more in good favors to one another. Take the donation sum and spend it on something nice for you're soon to be wife instead ;)

I wish you the best for the wedding and the life you are about to embark on with your "second half" :)
