Re: TES Skyrim 0.193

yup i got another of these freezes even bellow 2.5 GB without ENB in a action sequence with ugrid 7 so higher ugrid seems no option to efficiently test higher memory consumption scenarios, i have to find another way.

Great stuff some NPC created a glowing blue sphere where suddenly wolves emerged from Really Nice Shader effect after the wolf attacked and npc called some ai behaviors "freeze" :)

Re: TES Skyrim 0.193

Boris

Test 29 = Total MAGIC.

Performance = sky rocket (3 FPS more average)
CTDs = NONE.
Stuttering = NONE.
FPS drops = last one millisecond when loading cell with -5 to +2 FPS variations, then come back to regular FPS. But this is really fast.
Tested on 3 GB cards only.
As a precision, I'm using extreme quality settings in enbseries, for everything except reflections left off for exteriors. SSAO scales to 1.0 with sampling precision -1.
All te rest is quality 0, filter 0.
Detailed shadows is -1.

CruNcher
Don't touch uGrdis, but increase cell buffering only. Forget the +1 x same multiplier rule.
Try uGrids 5, exteriorCellBuffer 64. Works on my side, and eats more mem.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.193

30 - No CTD for me but not as smooth as the 29

Re: TES Skyrim 0.193

Test 29 best for me. Still have huge fps drop when lot of object in view (below 20).

Boris i decided to remove the mods with bugged texture. Its not ENBs fault, modders need to know correct texture formats.
So if you are fixing separately for AMD test 25 was best for it.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.193

Try to test again, because these tests have different size of caching.

DigitalPrinceX
If bug occur with mod, then it's not because of textures, but because of game. I'll try to find solution if you say what mod to install and where to see bug. Performance low, because on AMD those textures are in system memory located (wtf?) and moving via pci-ex (so pci-ex 3.0 should be 2x faster in this case than 2.0).

Problems, buddy? If you want to say something - PM please.

30 more stuttering.

Will test in few minutes 26-30 on old, dirty savegame.
