Re: TES Skyrim 0.193
Btw, should i try to increase cpu usage by the game or better not touch because of scripts and physics?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.193
I think anything is worth trying, seems like it may add an extra few frames if everything goes right.ENBSeries wrote:Btw, should i try to increase cpu usage by the game or better not touch because of scripts and physics?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.193
Another tests based on versions 28 and 29 (new parameter DisableDriverMemoryManager switch them). They differ only when ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true, version 32 utilize more memory and bring less fragmentation, but better to try on practice.
EDIT: attached to next post.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.193
Damn, in hurry forgot to mention that memory fixes now unlocked in config, tweak them (was forced to true in previous tests)

Only way is to tryENBSeries wrote:Btw, should i try to increase cpu usage by the game or better not touch because of scripts and physics?
Thus said, some tricks already exist for this, if I remember well.
+ fullproc via Steam parameters coupled with High priority for CPU usage under Windows for TESV.exe worked good enough for me.
Now, if you can do better.... Oh man....
On testing now.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.193
Please try - it always makes me sad when I see 40fps and ~70% GPU/low CPU utilization.ENBSeries wrote:Btw, should i try to increase cpu usage by the game or better not touch because of scripts and physics?
What is this fullproc parameter?Oyama wrote:+ fullproc via Steam parameters coupled with High priority for CPU usage under Windows for TESV.exe

Re: TES Skyrim 0.193
One should always try it out!
Worst case is that perhaps you would limit the amount of script based mods that one can run with! The scripting engine is notoriously unstable and it does not take much to upset it, and it almost always result in a CTD or broken save if it does.
Guess as long as there is an option to disable extra CPU usage then all is good.
As it is now then my CPU is working hard enough on the game, but always fun to try out new things!

Re: TES Skyrim 0.193
31 feels much smoother, almost no stuttering.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.193
31 stutters and uses more RAM. 32 is pretty smooth, RAM and VRAM looks balance from the look of Skyrim Monitor. So my pick is 32.
My test consist of running from riverwood all the way to whiterun and inside whiterun.
@Xilandro you should listed your PC specs in your signature.
