Re: TES Skyrim

How do you tone it down?
Also I have this effect when using superl3's settings, look around the edges:

Re: TES Skyrim

Play with fBokehCurve and a couple other bokeh settings in enbeffectprepass.fx.

Re: TES Skyrim

The Lightning mod is a Japanese one. Trying to find somewhere less dodgy to get it has been trying...

It was on the Nexus once but got taken down before I could get my hands on it.

Obligatory screenshots...

Re: TES Skyrim

Just wanted to say that I actually appreciate the so-called "off topic" discussion about window lights and so forth. I think a lot of us come to this thread to be inspired by what others have done and of course we want to know how they did it. I do not believe that this is actually off topic at all.

@EvoFq3o0--I never see underwater shots and yours look great. How did you get them to look like that? Are you using any underwater mods?

@kalicola--very nice first shot! Beautiful color, contrast, and brightness balance. Looks very real. Looking forward to seeing more!

Re: TES Skyrim

Hey guys! I'm quite blown away by all the fantastic settings here. In fact, I'm so humbled I've started a new configuration using some of the DOF code from Matso and Super.

Oh and Gionight, you just blew my mind...again. I'd love to test your new config.

And here, the sweetest sweet roll. Interesting how the bokeh goes crazy when you use a negative LOD bias.

And lastly some overcast weather.

Nice shots, joey4track! Especially the second one looks cunningly realistic.

Re: TES Skyrim

@haints- Agreed. This is a discussion thread for the Skyrim ENB series not just a screenshot thread. I think it's a great idea to share our individual experiences and knowledge of the series, and then maybe we can even come up with a super config- The Community ENB Super Settings! muahaaha :)

Oh and I forgot who mentioned it but someone said something earlier about wishing they could change to use enb settings on the fly in game. Well actually you can, sort of. I'm sure most of you know this but some people might not. As long as the settings you wish to use share the same d3d9.dll file you can actually alt-tab out of the game, copy over the other enb files and any pallette bmp file to immediately see the change when you alt-tab back. As far as I know you can't change the dll files but this is still EXTREMELY useful. I must have saved hours once I learned of this..

So I generally prefer using ENB over the Realistic Lighting mod but I do really love how that mod does interiors. But now I have an excuse to use it because PsychoSteve has released a custom config for RL that is absolutely stunning and I urge you all to check it out if you have any interest in the RL mod as it is by far(imho) the best config out there. I have a decent rig with a 6850 but when I get into SSAO and AA AF etc.. my pc bogs down and with Psychosteve's RL config I can get consistent frames and still have decent graphics.

BUT! It looks even better with ENB!! Of course, so I am tailoring a config specifically for his RL custom settings and here are a few pics...
