Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 07/25

Tried to see what kind of results I could get by hand drawing the clouds instead of manipulating my camera pictures

First result;
Image

The greyish edges on the cloud is caused by the black background I had set for it, it was just an experiment anyway so.

@ --JawZ--

Thx for that explanation how interior rendering works, that is indeed lot of manual work it seems.

Pretty amazing result i think with ELE @ Night total darkness only this 1 torch lighting up the scene and no IL i need to still tweak this (hair result especially) :)

also im not sure if my calibration is correct :(

Image

lossless compressed png result

Image

need to look @ it with the IPS screen but i think the edges of the hair are not visible but the data intact so if you amplify it you should see it :)

Strange Firefox doesn't seem to show the PNG right but the JPG is like the PNG, BMP result with the Windows calibration Profile in the Windows Photo Viewer @ Fullscreen

Firefox shows the PNG result like the Windows Photo Viewer in Windowed mode so wrong and not how it looks In Game like the JPG result in Firefox weird thing hmm maybe the Color Calibration Profile gets only used @ JPGS in Firefox (a bug) ?.

--JawZ-- do you see the same color reproduction in both posted pictures above or do they differ for you ?

IPS result is great for both you even see the very fine skin details their, especially in the PNG, of course you see all the aliasing as well but that's nothing that bothers me for now :)

yep the data in the PNG is fully intact i pushed the brightness on the ips and i can see the whole hair and more of the face

so the light must have hit the hair and my calibration is wrong

can you see the hair entirely ?

Some current outside result (all results are plain no Skylight no SSAO no IL no IBL, no Anti Aliasing (except Boris EdgeAA) no ENB Reflections i want to tweak every layer from 0)

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 07/25

I am using the ELE Weathers portion of your mod with RLO everything but weathers. they have an adaptive interiors portion to that mod that is for vanilla weathers and mods that alter vanilla weathers. I have not been able to find a suggestion to where the ELE weathers should be placed in the load order with RLO anywhere. BOSS places ELE weathers after all RLO esp's except it places it before RLO adaptive interiors. I checked in tes5EDIT and there is a conflict under the weather file header section of the two esp's. where would you suggest to place ELE weathers?

The conflicts seem to be restricted to cloud layer/ambient lighting color and something tes5EDIT refers to as Unknown# XX (x=various numbers) so im not really sure what they would effect.

if you have any suggestions they would be appreciated if not ill have to do a bit of experimenting on my own.

thanks.

CruNcher;

You're most welcome CruNcher.

Yeah though it's too bad the parts of the grass does not reflect any lighting from Light Bulbs such as torches and camp fires. Really destroys the immersion of having a total dark night and all of a sudden you stumble upon a black field of grass or something :roll:

There is a very very subtle difference between them and I only have a TN panel, a good one but nonetheless a TN screen so black level and color reproduction is not at it's highest with my screen.

But to answer you're question I can make out the silhouette shape and slight color differences in the PNG picture compared to the JPG where it is a black "mess", more or less.

LordDorian402;

The adaptive interior esp make changes to all vanilla weathers, one setting in the weather dialog window.

The setting that they have changed controls Emittance values for Light Bulbs but also other stuff's color such as water FX/Sprites/"bubbles". That is the only change and it's not compatible with ELE weathers.
I have made necessary adjustments to that setting to go along with my weathers overall exterior lighting and it behaves like RLO's adaptive interiors, light bulbs that are assigned a weather's emittance will change the color of the Light Bulbs to reflect the exterior weather based on the weathers.

That esp file is not meant to go along side with any mod that alters the vanilla weathers, if it only alters weather imagespaces it's ok. But any mod that make changes to vanilla weather will have a conflict with it and the mod that is loaded last will "win". If you say load ELE - Weathers.esp before RLO - Adaptive Interiors.esp none of my changes except for the weather's imagespace changes will have an effect.

So remove the RLO - adaptive interiors.esp file as it will not do anything if you load up ELE - Weathers.esp after it so all my weather changes will have an effect.

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 07/25

Everything starting from here and behind this point in Helgen Keep has severe performance issues (latency goes into the cellar) i really wonder why this is the case with ULTRA settings (it doesn't goes into my brain why which light is causing it) ;)

Image

That part you see here that exact spot is already causing extreme high latency just looking in that direction

CruNcher;

If you go inside the CK and open up that interior cell (HelgenKeep01) you will see that there is a lot of content in that interior cell and the roomarkers is doing it's job, you can try disabling them all (for testing purposes) and see how the performance would be without them.

And to be clear to you and others reading this, I have not done anything with ELE that would cause this.

Soon the Dragonborn Light Bulb module will be done and ready for a play through, only ~40 interior cells left :)

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 07/25

alright thank you for clearing that up for me. from what i read on the RLO nexus page it lead me to believe that it was designed to work with mods that altered vanilla weathers. maybe i misread something.

which part of your mod would i need to get the adaptive interiors portion that you are referring to, FX Emittance? or are the imagespaces and light bulbs also required?

It's the weather module but I don't cover every weather yet so you can use it together with adaptive interiors if you so choose, forgot to mention that. But if you want to have my weather changes you must load ELE - Weathers.esp after the adaptive interiors .esp file.

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 07/25

oh. thank you for the quick response. did not expect it. that is how i have it set at the moment anyway but have been noticing inconsistencies in the day/night levels in some of the interior cells, in riften mainly some others but cannot think of them now, seems like night levels during day. odd but not your problem, love the changes you have made to the weathers, but i have noticed that the clouds in c8220 seem a bit too intense i will post screen shots if you wish next time i get the chance. thanks again for the help, and keep up the good work. i like the screenshots of your mod ive seen so much ive been considering dropping RLO completely and using yours with ELFX. but that would require some major changes to my enb that im not sure im willing to take the time to make. sucks.

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 07/25

I was meant to go to bed but was "bombarded" with comments all over the place or places :P

Anyway that weather I have not touched, only weather with a C in it is c821e. But it might share imagespaces with one of the altered imagespaces which causes that bright cloud layer/layers.
No need I will take a look at it in game and in the CK but it is probably caused by the fact that it shares imagespaces with some of my altered ones.
I will :)
Well the light bulbs in ELFX is more vanilla colored + the way more intense lights will cause problems, but you Relighting Skyrim which covers more than both of those mods combined, last time I checked and I'm soon done with ELE - Dragonborn - Light Bulbs plugin which I will do a vanilla version and send it to NovakDalton author Relighting Skyrim so he can toss away my old Dragonborn module. It will cover every Dragonborn interior and cell.
