Re: TES Skyrim 0.200
I think RemoveBlur is not working from the recent versions.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.200
With uGridsToLoad=7, I can get a repeatable freeze which seems due to maxing out the VRAM usage.
I have HD7970 3GB and 32GB system RAM. In SPM my RAM usage goes to a max of 1.227 GB, but my VRAM hit 3.036GB when my game froze.
I set ReservedMemorySizeMb=32 just so it would use little VRAM. Any suggestions?
Happens with DisableDriverMemoryManager=true of false
Thanks.
EDIT: I turned down several other ini settings and it seemed to be much more difficult to get the freeze. I'll keep tuning them.

Try setting ReservedMemorySizeMb=768, all fixes to true except Unsafe Memory Hack.
Also, all will depend on your game inis tweaks.
Did you set some exterior cell buffer and interior cell buffer values in it ?

You answered your own question. No software magically going to give you more VRAM space, so you have couple options.APreciousPony wrote:With uGridsToLoad=7, I can get a repeatable freeze which seems due to maxing out the VRAM usage.

1. Set ReservedMemorySizeMb to lower numbers
2. Less high ress textures
3. Bring down the Ugrid back to 5 and see if you can keep the VRAM under your video card 3gig.
4. Get Video card with More Vram

Re: TES Skyrim 0.200
I'm having a bit of a problem with the most recent ENB series. I am experiencing massive, semi-permanent FPS drops when transitioning from interiors to the exterior world. With my current config, I normally get 50 FPS minimum in exteriors; however, as soon as I exit from an interior, my frame-rate drops to < 35 FPS with a persistent stutter. The only way I've found to return my frame-rate to normal, and eliminate the stutter, is to completely exit and reload Skyrim.
Other than these sudden drops when exiting from interiors, Skyrim runs incredibly well. I can sprint across the entire Skyrim map with little to no stutter; the gameplay is very smooth.

I just wanted to see if there were setting that were making ENB use up VRAM, I will try the ReserveMemorySize with higher values.bf3rocks wrote:

I was using low values thinking it reserved VRAM memory. I guess it works opposite of how I was thinking.
Thanks.

raising it will make the game use even more VRAM.Oyama wrote:

I don't have anything like that in Papyrus log (it just filled with various crap from dlc). Try to turn off each variable in [MEMORY] section to find out which is wrong and report results. And try somehow to understand why this happening, may be not running as admin, other software hooking, after alt+tab only, not appear in windowed mode, etc.

polo
RemoveBlur unchanged, can you please find out when it work and when not? Toggle various parameters which differ compared to previous version. Also i'd like to know which previous version have it worked (to compare sources).
Yersinia79
I have Afterburner installed for testing, so will try to find out why it not work. Fraps can't be fixed unless i'll make another code for supersampling (may be i should make all display resolutions doubled when it's on, not just one?).
APreciousPony
ReservedMemorySizeMb must be bigger if you want to reduce "freezing". Anyway, i didn't any memory manager tweaks yet, it's just brute force allocation now, what future versions.
TwoArmedMan15
Post your system specifications and try to toggle parameters under [MEMORY] section, to find out which produce issue.
Btw, i don't see much difference in memory when ugrid set bigger than 5. Is it because only my game is not modded much? Or may be it's one of those parameters which are buggy at no reason?

Better yes, because vsync may not work and you may forget about problem and will start to rip off hairs from head without any single idea what the heck is wrong.Even though I use Vsync max 60fps should I leave FixPhysics=true?
