Re: TES Skyrim 0.200

They think it will go faster to ask a question than to dig into it themselves and try different things out.
No intuition, no creativity and especially a lack of observation skills.

I had similar problems. The following completely fixed it for me: edit enblocal.ini such that
[LIMITER]
WaitBusyRenderer=true

I also have Vsync enabled but I'm not sure that matters.

If you want even more stable FPS try:
[LIMITER]
WaitBusyRenderer=true
EnableFPSLimit=true
FPSLimit=35.0 // my setting, you can try to play around but you need to settle on a value that your hardware can consistently deliver.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.200

I had already some surprises with this enbhost textures wrong loaded and complete scripted sequences failing, then i set it up with my old settings and surprise enbhost wasnt loaded and i had the old 199 stable experience back with the low memory usage :D
another issue i experienced with enbhost npc suddenly appearing in their scripted sequences in the scene like they get beamed in from nowhere :)

So it's good to see that you actually can decide via the setup if you want to use enbhost or not :)

This is also strange like it happens random depending on the ENB setup

Alduins fire doesn't get rendered (sometimes) and appears shortly after somewhere in front of the scene when he flys away (very crazy) like there is a timing mismatch somewhere, between script and animation occuring.

Image

Without ENB and the normal preloaded 2 GB for this scene it never happens

Ahh this seems to be the Havok Physics Engine issue you all talk about if the framerate drops bellow 60 fps it seems ?

i tried now

[LIMITER]
WaitBusyRenderer=false
EnableFPSLimit=true
FPSLimit=30.0

[LIMITER]
WaitBusyRenderer=true
EnableFPSLimit=true
FPSLimit=30.0

on the first run i couldn't see the fire and it was appearing when he flew away on every run after that (cached data in memory) it worked also @ 30 fps strange thing

Re: TES Skyrim 0.200

Did some more 4k runs with different ReservedMemorySizeMb
512-768MB seemd like good values for 1080p, but for some reason 384-512MB seems better for 4k to me. 256MB was just very laggy, same with 1280MB :>

Yersinia79;

Had the same experience myself that when running 4K resolution, I had to lower the memory amount slightly, I tried with increasing it to 1024 and reached 3.4 GB of VRAM instead of 3.1 GB with 512MB.

Where in Skyrim do you do your test runs?

Like this not 100% but almost ^^
(normal speed horse across tundra - fast travel - normal speed horse forested area - full speed horse forested area (right after the lone cabin before Falkreath))

Re: TES Skyrim 0.200

Wow i did a test now

i removed the complete Papyrus section in skyrim.ini those tweaks that user recomend to have better performance

which was for me recommended by some Nexus GURU ;)

[Papyrus]
fUpdateBudgetMS=800
fExtraTaskletBudgetMS=800
fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=2000
iMinMemoryPageSize=256
iMaxMemoryPageSize=512
iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=2457600
fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0
bEnableLogging=0
bEnableTrace=0
bLoadDebugInformation=0

after removing everything the timing is much much better on the first run

Yersinia79;

Almost the same location then, though I start from the Falkreath Watchtower and end at the Pineforrest and SNow region at Helgen

CruNcher;

That "nexus GURU" is not very bright if he suggest you those settings.

Just read up on what they actually do before testing out such settings ;) - http://www.creationkit.com/INI_Settings_(Papyrus)

Re: TES Skyrim 0.200

I don't know what I am doing wrong but I can't edit the enbeffect.fx file with the GUI. The only thing that is editable in the shader window of the GUI is the enbsunsprite.fx file.

Can somebody help me please?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.200

Probably some code that is not setup properly if you have added the code that is.

Send me a copy of the file via PM and I'll have a look at it, as a file not as a pasted text.
