Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 07/25

What do you mean by "No real light source for cloudy" weathers?

The transition of the weather will not be affected at least not so it will completely stop but it will slow it down considerably. The vanilla weathers own timer is often set to 0.128, if it's seconds I do not know as it seems to be affected by other things as well, timer wise I mean.

Not sure of that its just a thought i moved to 0.200 and after all the optimizations i got another 10 fps in the heavy light stage :)

and i added Sun Rays for Heavier Immersion though i overdid it here a little for testing hehe ;)

This rendered not bad @ 40 FPS :)

CruNcher;

It was a nice rendered scene with sun rays even if they are a bit too intense :)

evok99;

The update I had planned will be delayed because of my work on the ENB Guide I have re upload. That or it will just have the a smaller amount of content updated, I will see what I will do. Propably an update for the weathers and the imagespace module will be done during these last days of this week.

Looks nice and cozy!
That's what I love about Timeofday. Daytime you can set little to no rays, and in the evenings you can set some gorgeous orange rays piercing the tree canopys. It's poetic. :)

@insomnia_jt
Thx it feels good if at least some understand your Visual Language and are not so focused on just for the moment Screenarchery, people have just to accept to see rarely non Female Character or First Person shoots from me ;)

@ --JawZ--

Did you evaluated Opethfelds beta 7 approach yet i would really like to know what you think of it he has tuned 51 weather states all the Vanilla ones i guess and also adapted them lighting wise in his own light mod i guess it's crazy and if i think about doing the same for ELE and how much time you guess what i mean, and he said he optimized entirely for the base Bethesda Resources which is absolutely great i think in terms of future mod interoperability :)
He could really need support on the interiors it seems thus they are far from under control it seems, how he envisions a lighting model in them especially the dungeons :)
You share practically the same Vision with ELE it's your decision of course what you want and how to proceed, and im correct to you i have no idea yet which way to go it's a though decision and i try carefully to evaluate it for my own work i did apart from Scarlet ENB.

Also i guess with his approach you could change to very realistic looking crazy artistically stuff as well if you take the time to change his base to your visual needs, so it seems to be really one of the most consistent PBL solutions we have currently and could build on :)

CruNcher;

Haven't the time right now to do any evaluating of mods that is not tied to ENB like the .fx files for instance. But once I've completed Guide - Part 1 and released my updated ELE content I will be sure to take a look at his preset and mod for a comparison.
Well his mod is a BETA preview version of his upcoming full version so it stands to reason that the lighting will be improved all around over time. So don't see any reason to help him out as I need to learn how he want's the lighting to be and that does not happen in under a days work. If he wants help I gladly give it of course but I don't think he wants or needs any help and I think I would be more in the way than actually helping him by speeding things up in some way.

You have also very good interior base if i see it right not sure if he did interior changes @ all though some pictures i think show he did as the light feels partly consistent with the outside light
but yeah beta is always a picky thing but @ least you could talk with him and see and understand if what he want's fits to you, though if i read it right he envisions a almost point light free interior thing very heavy i guess to get that working @ all, though i think it's not so impossible @ all if i think about what Gopher did with Scripts and Light :)
Of course the most what he needs now are World light inconsistency reports and i see he gets already some feedback there :)

For me it's sure no easy decision and im struggling with it thinking about throwing all your part time work away or rather transform every result i reached now with the help of ELE :(

Maybe that's gonna be may last look back @ some unimproved non released results :(

Jawz forums log me out every time i click one of those links in your signature. Might be the "sid" part.

Also, looks like Imagespaces are incompatible with Sounds Of Skyrim too :(
I hope Wrye Bash team will implement bashed patches one day...
