Re: TES Skyrim 0.201

Damn, i'm so tired to recieve PMs on nexus from "VIPs" who think they are so special that i need to reply them personally. Almost all questions are "i don't want/like to install enb, how to install enboost without enb".

Re: TES Skyrim 0.201

Thank you. Fixing my .ini to remove the multi-thread stabilized Skyrim with ENB completely! I still have a little stutter, but the game never crashes and can load all saves. Are you still gathering statistics? I can do some runs around Riverwood and around some other places that really stress my system.

Edit - I'm sorry about my previous comment saying the FPS limiter was working. SPM is so small on my screen I thought it was saying 35 but it was saying 36. I saw it skip up to 45 after a big cell load.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.201

Going to have to do more tests but I was crashing at ReservedMemorySizeMb=512 even though it worked fine in .200. I lowered it to 256 and I didn't crash. This doesn't make sense does it since I have a 3gb video card?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.201

Bigger ReservedMemorySizeMb increase RAM usage. But why you have this issue, that's the problem, because game crash when 4 gb limit reached in x64 os. May be enbhost not work and all data just compressed in skyrim process memory? Measure memory usage of enbhost.exe, if it lower than ~100 mb, it's not work

Boris,

Would you offer 0.200 as a download option again? Some people, including myself are having issues with 0.201 and 0.202.

Thanks

@Wolfstryder - You can find old binaries here.

I use .200 myself as well. The stuttering is just too much with version 201 and 202. I will attest that version 200 has some occasional crashes but it stutters far less for me and the crashes aren't that often so it's definitely playable. You'll have to download 201 or 202 to get the random setup files and then use the d3d9.dll for version 200 from the above linked site.

Is enbhost.exe the same for all versions?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.201

Hour and a half no issues, went all over the place... 201 is by far the best I have used so far.. I occasionally get the big freeze then the game recovers, but this last session not an issue at all...
