Re: TES Skyrim 0.209

Finally could try with a proper Skyrim !

Verdict : Wow !!!

Image

Using Ultra Settings, a lot of texture mods (including Texture Pack Combiner) and some gameplay mods (Climate of Tamriel (weather only), Frostfall, Wet and Cold, GetSnowy, Realistic Needs and Diseases, Duel, ACE, Relighting Skyrim, Realistic Force, Windfull, Race Menu + ShowRace Menu Precache Killer, FootPrints,...) and Chidosity ENB V2. I made this test using Riverwood Reborn 2 too.
Used Optimizer Texture but without changing resolution (up to 4096*4096).

My memory settings :

ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true
ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true
DisableDriverMemoryManager=true
DisablePreloadToVRAM=false
EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false
ReservedMemorySizeMb=256
VideoMemorySizeMb=2048

Only observing some stutter, probably because I should increase ReservedMemorySizeMb. But no CTD, no freezes and no bugs in Skyrim Helgen sequence.
Wonderfull. Thank you Boris !

Re: TES Skyrim 0.209

I cant believe. I use this pc to test stuff, have skyrim HD little, water, monster mod, immersive armors/weapons, skyrim flora overhaul, parallax road, DOF active and more mods. I was crashing like every min or 15 min max, now i ran from whiterun to windhelm and no problems. No freezes also. The weird thing at the end is because i got a message of a deffecive HD i have and all got fked up, but i could probably keep playing much longer since all was smooth.

[MEMORY]
ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true
ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true
DisableDriverMemoryManager=true
ReservedMemorySizeMb=128
EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false
DisablePreloadToVRAM=false
VideoMemorySizeMb=1024

Seems this ENB helps also to weaks pcs.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.209

Can I use ATTK with ENB, will it cause problems? Does it even do anything anymore?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.209

.209 works wonders

My RAM is 8GB, my VRAM is 3GB, set video memory size to 9216 and it's smooth as butter! It was never this smooth before. I'm not talking just FPS, I'm talking the no-stutter, perfectly smooth looking around and running about that I had HialgoBoost to get.

Ran for 1 hour without problems, only infinite loading which I checked and were due to an old save that changed mods along the way. COC from main menu on launch to the same location as trying to load solved the problem, so it's definitely the old bloated save.

Running on an AMD card (7950) with no problems, my drivers are old, 13.4, but that shouldn't matter much.

Tried to post my enblocal.ini, but forum says it has too many non-english words for a new user and looks to spammy. I'll post latter if I can.

Great job Boris.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.209

hmm Boris could you implement a counter that shows how many frames where lost while being in the rendering queue in the statistics and instead of FPS a measurement of the Rendered ENB frames in ms ?
So all of the Shader and effect parts combined ms result additionally to the separated ones currently (how long does the whole ENB chain processing needs before the modified Frame is rendered on screen in ms).

Re: TES Skyrim 0.209

Didn't work...

Anyway, here's a file describing my configuration and settings. If anyone is interested, specially AMD users.

EDIT: file deleted

CruNcher
I don't understand what is that "frames lost". And profiler in ms is classic way which all developers use, no reason to modify it.
