The W.A.T.E.R files are for 1.6 and the Mod is at 1.75 (Final) atm.
I have the exact same question.
Been searching through the pages here but haven't found any clues.

Can I install it without the WATER patch?

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB

Decided to stay with Pure Waters.

WATER is conflicting with too many Mods.

Mindflux (hi!), do you know if it is possible to let those clouds added by Real Clouds NOT react with PARTICLE settings, but with cloud or fog settings? I'm having a hard time of getting them to look similar to my normal cloud cover without blowing out my foamy water (running WATER 1.75).

Sorry guys, I haven't had time to keep up due to professional commitments. I'm not sure when I will have time to update the patch, but I'm sure I'll get to it eventually.

Hey, it's been a while! I can see where you're coming from but sadly it's not possible - that said I guess it would be possible to make the clouds react to volumetric fog settings, not sure if that would help though.

Hi Mindflux and everyone, I'm usually working for the french port of USKP and I already contributed in various way, fixed meshes and others.

I recently posted a few fixed meshes on USKP bug tracker :

Bug #13479 : http://afkmods.iguanadons.net/index.php ... -whiterun/

Bug #13480 : http://afkmods.iguanadons.net/index.php ... -whiterun/

I'm wondering if the fixes I applied (modifying vertices colors) have something similar to the fixes you already made. Anyway, would you mind posting a tutorial on how you managed the already fixed files ? You may not have time to achieve this task, but with proper explanations I'm sure several modders may pursue it.

Thanks, I edited previous post. Screenshots come from my own server, I hope they fit your standards. I may remove them if you want.

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB

I've done some updates to the particle patch myself, and will release that content later on to be sure I haven't messed things up.

TPC 1.95b compatability

SMIM 1.5 compatability

Adding missing stuff like dust beams that did not react to the particle settings, go inside Temple of Kynareth to see such beams, and some other minor things as well.

Thank you Jawz ! I was just "complaining" because of not compatibility with things like SMIM, Project Parallax Remastered, WATER 2.0 and so on. So I'd rather not installing Mindflux meshes bundled in ENB presets.

Is there any possibility to do a simple patch, that just edit and alter the mistaken part of the nif ? I am a developer so I can help if you want. I just don't know NIF structure.

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB

Some of the SMIM things that I have checked already have corrected meshes in it and I haven't gone through every mesh that conflicts with Particle Patch installation yet though, same for the rest of the compatibilities.

Here is the list of meshes that are causing conflicts though just in case;

TPC 1.95b conflicts;

Data\meshes\clutter\brewerycasklargeclosed02.nif
Data\meshes\clutter\ingredients\tomato.nif
Data\meshes\clutter\woodfires\campfire01landburning.nif
Data\meshes\clutter\woodfires\campfire01burning.nif

Data\meshes\effects\fxwaterfallbodytall.nif
Data\meshes\effects\fxwaterfallbodyslope.nif
Data\meshes\effects\watersplash.nif
Data\meshes\effects\fxwaterfallbodytall02.nif
Data\meshes\effects\fxdripssplash01.nif
Data\meshes\effects\fxrapidsrocks01.nif

Data\meshes\furniture\clutter\millogpile.nif

I will add the SMIM and the new WATER + Skyfalls and so on list later but it's easy to check that with NMM and any other conflict by the way, install SMIM first then install the Particle Patch and check every install conflict and write them down. And make sure to have an empty mesh and texture folder.
