Re: TES Skyrim

I know, I should have had it up sooner but I didn't have much time to spend on it and I always thought like there were some more tweaking to do. I guess it's now nothing like the one you were once looking forward to play :D

Love the days in your settings. Would like to see how your nights look as well.

EDIT - @Thrillville - Just saw this one - Amazing! Best shadows in a dungeon I've seen. Are you using "Real Lights" mod? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=10390

@gionight

I was honestly questioning your post out of curiosity in case I missed something. When you replied with a sarcastic, demeaning remark, yeah, I took it as a jab considering it was said moments after my first post in days. I do not care to continue this pointless back and forth, but language barrier or not, I don't think anything was lost in translation when you referred to me as a hypothetically skilled, talentless boy. I thought I was part of a community with one goal in mind, to make Skyrim the best it can be, but apprently you are of the mindset that you are the king, and us lowly peons have no right to feel proud of our contributions. So, from one perfectly entitled user to another, fuck off.

Peace.

The nights are boring because I had to tone down the intensity of the light sources to prevent blowing out in the dungeons. Am I the only one who has terribly intense light sources in Whiterun at night but then the torch is not good for anything? I think the next step is to play with Realistic Lighting or such and try to come up with some kind of new solution.

Nice shot with the dragon, by the way!

Re: TES Skyrim

Mindflux looks great :) maybe add a little more contrast too it as color seems to be just on the dull side.

as for your point lighting tweak the curve, less would look more like thrillvilles and more would add more colour, best to tweak in a dungeon and with a torch as you can make the light from flames have the orange tint. hope this helps.

Keep up the good work :) will be trying your config tonight

Anyone know the setting to change to add black borders within ENB? I just did this with paint. I really prefer the look in game. Plus you gain about 3-5 FPS when you use the black cinema bars.
Thanks

Re: TES Skyrim

I'm just using the letterbox effect that comes with super's enb. It's just a vignette effect that is found in the enbeffect.fx file. I just copied the vignette section and added to my enbeffect.fx file but then again I always use a heavily tweaked version of HD6's effect.fx so I just had to copy over the vignette portion of the file. And I've noticed a lot of the major enb configs out there don't use it and I'll just say that there is quite a lot you can do with HD6's version of the enbeffect.fx. I suggest anyone seriously interested in tweaking enb to play around with it. It is a very nice way of adjusting color, light and saturation without using the enbseries.ini. Hope that helps!
