Re: TES Skyrim
Thanks! I'm not sure where I'm taking it still, but it's sure proved to be a challenge. Glad you think I'm on the right track. Well... at least I think 'unique' is not as bad as plainly awful, ha ha!

jforce
Midgard9 was right, that's Falskaar. A whole new land for screenshots

I have the same problem. I have just avoided those shots or changed the angle a little. I have other issues with the letterbox bars so I haven't looked into the problem.
midhras
That looks great. I'm sure whatever direction you take it, it will still look great

CruNcher --- Full shadows, as you wish
Day
Night. I do not know if anything can be seen here
New TIMEOFDAY test. Sunset. My favourite model, Orc Nagrub and his mother.
Something like subsurface scattering

Re: TES Skyrim
i guess your Ambient brightens the Shadows right or are both Ambient and Skylighting really high ?
but yeah it looks way better the textures look not as dead as with a strong shadow appearance and i would say better unrealistic bright shadows then losing the character appearance in shadows

Re: TES Skyrim
CruNcher --- on a sunny day, the shadows are not too dark I use high skylighting and ambientlight plus imagebasedlighting. Ambient with low curve to avoid blue tint from imagebasedlighting.

Re: TES Skyrim
yes but it's not full sunny it's early sunshine
Skyrim Flora overhaul seems not to be usable it brakes apart to often
are there any complete tree textures that have better quality ?
I reached one of my goals so far 1080p Pal Realtime @ 25 fps on a 460 GTX (now speed can go much lower as i prepare my GPU upgrade Volcanic Island(AMD) or Maxwell(Nvidia))
Without Boris his optimizations that would have been stayed a dream in this fidelity on this Hardware in Realtime
