Re: TES Skyrim 0.212

Thanks for the tips. I verified the integrity of the game cash. I'll definitely try the better method of fixing the nightvision. Still getting CTDs so it has to be a mod somehow.

So strange. Tried vanilla load ctd, enabling mods one at a time, ctd. Tried past versions known to work before, ctd. Changed my drivers to 320.49 version, ctd.

Tried the injector. Works fine. I've always used the wrapper before. What would cause the need to switch. Hardware about to fail?

Do you have any other software running or anti-virus? That stuff can cause problems.

Set the right Value for VideoMemorySizeMb probably helps ...
He has the right value. The formula for that on a 64 bit OS is VRAM+RAM-2048=VideoMemorySizeMb. This is Boris' formula. The setting doesn't always work though (from my observation SLI and CrossfireX setups in particular don't always work as anticipated.)
Yes - But Boris also wrote "Value above size of physical video memory is allowed, but you have risk to get errors because of drivers and other software ..."
-> So why not first check with correct Vram Value? (e.g. 4096 for Asus GTX690) I dont see the benefit from setting it higher than the correct value of Vram ...

Boris also said that the current state of the ENBoost.exe file does not allow more then 10Gb to be used! so setting it any higher will do absolutely nothing!

I currently run with 8196 with 16Gb RAM and 2Gb VRAM and it works nicely enough.

I don't. Run the game with the razer game boost. I do also use mod manager. But not sure how either of those would effect the game. Tried with and without the boost. No dice on the wrapper. I can play with the injector. It's just strange for the sudden inability.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.212

Can anyone tell me what VideoMemorySizeMb should I be using if I have a GTX Titan (6GB VRAM) and 8GB of system memory?

That's it right there. Honestly, it's probably not doing anything for you anyways, I'd recommend playing without it.

Same as everyone else. VRAM+RAM-2048=VideoMemorySizeMb
So in your case 6gb+8gb-2gb=12gb. And, as has been stated, anything above 10 gb doesn't do anything and you wanna leave your system a little room to breathe so I'd recommend 8192.

SiSaSyco
The benefit of setting it higher is obvious. You artificially increase the amount of VRAM you have, supplementing it with System RAM. The performance difference is obvious. I have mine set to 4096 (higher than that doesn't agree with my system) and it's a LOT smoother than 2048 (see my sig for system). Also, since a GTX 690 is a dual GPU card, it's running in SLI, and it has 2x2GB memory. This means it has an effective 2gb, not 4gb no matter what the packaging says. Memory is mirrored in the gpu's VRAM, the total isn't increased or shared. It's a limitation in the technology.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.212

people, read the fine print in OP, CTD's are not supported :o your game save is corrupted, start a new game then load the old saves again.
