Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 07/25

1. Interior Ambient lighting will reflect the proper color based on the strongest light source, if the strongest light source is a fire then there will be a slight more reddish tone to the ambient than in a place with the Sun/Moon light as it's strongest light source, which is natural. But this will be per location and when that is implemented, until then I will only use per interior cell assigned color.

2. Interior cells will be assigned the "darkness amount" based on how much exterior light it can receive which will determine the amount of ambient lighting possible in that interior. It will not be pitch black and you will not need to use a torch to see but to see details in a corner you will need a torch. I'm trying to balance this out as best as I can.

3. I remove the vanilla light bulbs from all interior cells and add my own new created light bulbs place them properly at vanilla placed light sources and where it is needed I add completely new light sources or move vanilla placed light sources to a better location. Not in many locations or in a huge amount just to make it visually better, from my own perspective.

4. No area will be significantly darker then the other one, darker yes but not pitch black darkness. If you have tweaked your Day and Night settings for instance Whiterun interiors both the dungeons of Whiterun and interiors and later on stumble upon a dungeon which with your settings makes it total black. Such things will not happen with ELE, to a point of course. I can't make it work for every possible ENB settings as there are far to many ways to configure an ENB but I am doing the best I can to balance every sort of lighting in every location so it will not break a preset in certain locations while have it look like you want in other locations.

Balance and natural color as well as adjusting certain things to make ENB behave in a better way is what ELE is all about.

That sounds just about perfect, especially the lightbulb idea.

does that mean that you have managed to get the vampire night eye working with the enb?, I did not think that was possible. Not that I'm complaining. I'm a vampire so that would be amazing because I have my enb setting towards the realistic side and its hard to get around, not to mention fight a dragon, at night.

Haven't gotten to that part yet only tried out some visual changes to see the limits of the effects a imagespace modifier has, imagespace mocifiers are not the same as imagespaces.

A final version of the whole ELE suite is months away with the current work speed I have and the sheer amount of stuff I have and plan to cover.

I've tried to achieve similar visuals to that of vanilla overall look with this special weather type. Difference is that I use the weather to assign the look not the imagespace!
Lazy Bethesda, you can see how much it distorts all colors by comparing the light bulb emittance which is the same in both pictures > ELE - Light Bulbs default fire colored light bulbs.

Still work to be done with this weather though.
