I get infinite load screen when i usually test mods (but my saves are a total mess too). To test stability i think you can spawn naked npcs/dragons and use big res skin/armor textures, like of 40mb each or so.

Since I have a GTX TITAN with 6GB of VRAM should it be ok for me to use EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=true ?

Guys worth trying, If you really want to test ugrids to the max try:

Monster Mod 3 (the re-made one from Nexus) + Skyrim Immersive Creatures + Immersive Patrols + Monster Wars v6 on top of all texture mods of course.

I guarantee you will get CTD's. Even though ENB is running flawlessly for me, I still can't get it working with ugrids 7+ with those mods.

Went as far as re-installing the whole thing. Still only ugrids 5 stable for me (and even that with occasional CTD every 2-3 hours or so).

By the way,

Oyama does your K ENB Extensive (the vibrant one) for ENB v199 require any tweaks modifications when using ENB 212+ ? Or settings are the same?

if you set EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks to TRUE you will completely disable ENBoost memory manager effectively eliminating all benefits associated with it.

This setting should be kept FALSE at all times - (unless exceptional circumstances of you have GPU older than yourself of course)

Throw in SkyTEST + 101 bugs + UFO w/ 15 followers... That'll CTD you for sure.

You know, it's amazing what the whole modding community has managed to do with this crappy engine, especially Boris and ENB... I wonder how far we can really push this thing... It's an almost two year old buggy engine... Of course, there is MGSO 3.0 for Morrowind...



I've done some very limited testing today (nuked save + packing for a move hasn't given me a lot of time. "RL" has been crazy lately.) and from what I've seen, it feels very much 0.213. I haven't really tried pushing it hard yet, so I suppose the report isn't too helpful... Btw, I know there's been some TAA work lately, but whatever has been done has made TAA unusable for me. It produces all sorts of artifacting on actors... little quick moving lines or textures moving out place, even when things are mostly stationary (character standing in place swaying back and forth slightly and such). It looks far worse than the aliasing does. If I want to use it, I have to use 0.212 with helper mod. If I want to use a newer binary or not use the helper mod, I need SMAA. Ghosting I could live with but this is disgusting... I'm guessing you have no plans to do any more work on it though, do you Boris?

Just redownloaded and reinstalled game from steam. Deleted all mods except alternative start, all texture packs including HRDLC, even deleted skse, started new game

Same results with ugrid=11
crash in geyser area near riften. (sometimes freezes)

Going to try new skse plugin.
UPD: tried Altimor's skse plugin. Now getting CTD earlier - after leaving riften by road (probably when the new cell is being loaded)

If it will help you (crash on run without skse):

If you don't care about alt+tab issue for fullscreen mode, then try unsafe hack mode.

You wrong, unsafe memory hack still part of memory reducing feature, but it simply not use enbhost.exe and compression to store copies of resources, everything is in vram and non local vram stored.

Just removed alternative start and downloaded clean after helgen save.
First run - didn't crash on riften, but crashed near whiterun
Second run - crash in usually place in riften

Me test run for ini with ugrid=11:
1) load from clean save with ugrid5 in riften / coc to riften
