Guzio
It matters to me what opinions people have.
Sorry but I don't have the original screenshot. I always downscale pics so they won't be so big when posting them.

Re: TES Skyrim

Many great shots posted by everyone!
I just wanted to thank you again, JawZ. The skycolor comes out much better without the clouds IMO.

Borrowed the lenz effect from Jasmin ENB... Pretty cool but hard to tweak.

Plz shoot me that effect (ALF via effect.txt, right ?) via PM.
I'll add it as an alternative pass of my crossgame shaders compilation ;)

@insomnia_jt
it doesn't look bad though it looks more like TV Scale then PC Scale the luminance is partly to high and details get lost here on the calibration you should try a version with higher contrast :) getting blacks more efficient instead of turning them into grey shades, but you might want to achieve that look the way it is then leave it as it is :)

Especially in many of your interior results it becomes very apparent here on the Samsung PLS Panel

it's extremely overflowing, and due to this a lot of details get lost that would be visible like in this shoot, on a TV Panel it might look good but on a PC Panel nope :(

Image

From this perspective it even makes the appearance the whole room is flooded in fog :)

But yeah a very nice Cinematic Preset you creating there :)

lot of banding Woods, though i guess most comes from the compression of your image hoster

It's all in the PM. ;)

Thanks for feedback! I did a monitor calibration some time ago on my old 20" monitor. It kinda made white stuff (like clothing from an online store) being invisible on white backrounds. So I won't do a calibration again. Don't really care much about it either. And my 27" budget monitor is more or less like a TV so it suits me.
About the haze/smoke/fog in interiors. I know I use a ton of bloom in my settings, but I like it. Every tweak that gives me more immersion is a good tweak. ;)
Cheers, mate!

Yes, i'm using Gimp to convert my shots to jpg. and for compression :3 I think for shots like this i should change this^^

Absolutely epic shots, insomnia :) ! The one with the waterfall is my favourite. I haven't tried lenz-effects like this yet, but it looks very cinematic.

but the approach is strange i mean if you would like a haze effect in interiors then you could just move the volumetric fog inside or better using bethesdas imagespace system that can be triggered from any point in the room instead of making it a constant variable that affects everything in the ENB.
For example to simulate a dense layer of flying dust particles that get illuminated by the outside sun (which your scene could really well be also) of course if your target is screen archery there is no objection to this permanently approach but i think loosing dynamics kills immersion and doesn't create it so if everything looks the same ,every room the same it's not good imo :)
My point is ENBs shouldn't go overboard but nicely integrated in the overall system and not trying to replace everything that's not what ENB is for, i mean @ least if we don't have the possibility to control each ENB state per (interior) room which would be crazy if we could overwrite Bethesdas Imagespace calling with ENB completely in Realtime as well :)
