Re: TES Skyrim

Asgaard;

The overall image visual looks look good but are you sing vanilla bloom? If so I would suggest turning that down as it tends to smudge colors at certain levels.

If not, the colors do look a bit smudged out, cave wall that has light emittance and the red detail colors on the torso of the armor in my eyes seem to suffer from that.

If you want to have vanilla bloom control just check out any of my enbeffect.fx files for such codes, link in my signature below.

Thanks :) and I agree, Wet Skittles works best with your preset 8-)

Asgaard

JawZ' eyes are a little more trained than mine ;) I didn't notice the things he was pointing out when first looking at the pic. But those things don't really bother me. What bothers me most in Skyrim are some of the textures. Even some hi-rez textures still don't look good. But that doesn't have anything to do with your preset ;)
I think it looks really good :) Is there some HDR in Sweetfx being used? I just started using a little in the latest preset I'm working on so that's why I'm wondering.

This preset will be very different, i needed to start from scratch and this is what i got for clear weathers.

But keep in mind i started this new preset today so there's a lot of work to do.

And this made me laugh! Apparently, when I am not looking, Aurora likes to fly.

It looks really good. While I don't like the word I think your preset looks realistic.
It sounds intimidating to "start from scratch". ;)

symphonicjohn
Damn... Just going over your pics again. I don't know how you manage to capture so much life in your characters eyes!
Whats your object SSS settings?

Re: TES Skyrim

@ Unreal
I never ask people to share their presets, but this time i can't stop myself) Can you share this build of your new preset?
Image
i don't care is it finished or no, i really love how it looks already. Most people like to make fantasy-like presets, or cinematic, and those presets actually looks cool, and there's a huge effort behind every preset. But only few tweakers try to make Skyrim looks photorealistic - old Gionight's preset, maybe Sharpshooter\New Hope, Opethfeldt, and i think Saltr too. There's also guy with nickname SkyrimTuner with his RealVision ENB, also cool preset, but tbh its not "ultra-realistic" at all.
But yesterday i saw your work and just can't stop thinking about it, it's like itch right in my head, because

Wow! How on earth did you get your distant mountains to be so brightly lit without there being any fog present?? It looks amazing!

No dude, not SweetFX... On this screenshot, it's Skyrim WITHOUT ENB or Sweetfx, RCRN... Just RLO and Imaginator on this picture!! :) (old screenshot)

Unreal
The "After 3 (custom weather)" is the best!! Very close to the real lights by clear weather!!

My preset in v0.108 TrueHDR gives VERY HIGH PERFORMANCE!!!! WOW!! Less effects but looks good!! ;)
