Re: TES Skyrim 0.217

I hope I didn't put my asian foot in my mouth again with my English as 2nd language statement.

The TemporalAA with my refracting meshes are making two duplicate meshes (one for texture and one for refracting) flipping them like Z fighting. I'll have to see how to make my mod compatible to TemporalAA.

EDIT: I see TemporalAA (TXAA) is only fully supported by Nvidia. AC3 on my AMD 7850 was missing the TXAA option.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.217

@skysan

he overdid it a little

he should have stayed calm and better left those authors alone then to attack them it's not the fine art to work with others even if their way of working seems flawed to you :)
Renegade1979 banned.

Unnecessary hostility towards author and other users in upload thread. If someone doesn't want to work to your expectations with their texture mods, just don't use the mod.

User has made several posts in the past criticizing various mod authors for their textures. Nobody likes a self-proclaimed expert telling them what they should and should not do, let alone a rude one.

The same flickering happens on my Nvidia card with TAA turned on

Re: TES Skyrim 0.217

Can anyone think of a reason DOF wouldn't be working with this latest release? I am sure it is something with the variant Matso code in my enbeffectprepass.fx file, but it's been working up until this last release...

In 0.215, Boris modified enbeffectprepass.fx to add Sweetfx-Like processes. So, It's possible files based on old structure have to be updated.

It's not TXAA it's Boris own implementation it has nothing todo with TXAA except that it works similiar

A pretty good overal lod result of it (not sure if combined with downsampling) but a very nice recent result you can see here

Re: TES Skyrim 0.217

ENB TAA works perfectly with AMD. If yours not working, something else is problem in your PC.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.217

DigitalPrinceX

he has problems with his refraction mod and seems already if he enables it that might be something different (his mod is different as it is also visible in front directly first person, could be some depth rendering issue maybe again) i didn't tried in my chandelier test with TAA so i dunno how the output might look (Nvidia) with it i will test with skysans mod as well and check what happens also in motion.

These refraction mods becoming more and more now, i saw several now working on renegades ideas in that direction also renegade seems still active on the Nexus and pushing some authors again hehe ;)

Boris - looks like nobody has mentioned it yet, just wanted to let you know the addition of UIStep is working perfectly in 217 (at least for me), thanks.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.217

@Boris re/ ILS: Well, I thought I would ask anyway, see if there was something else that could be done about it. I am in the habit of disabling ENB before any transition now, and the game runs perfectly forever...no more freezes, no more CTDs.

I really look forward to some of the new graphics effects. Icicles and other glass objects that refract in K ENB and Kountervibe ENB would make my day!

(NOTE: The post above kept triggering the "new user anti-spam" thing. Kept asking me to remove bad words/non-english words. As far as I could tell, there were no bad words or non-english words. I kept removing one word at a time, to no avail. Finally, I had to post one sentence at a time, edit, and post the next. That worked, for whatever reason. Something really seems to be up with the anti-spam blocker...it is WAY to paranoid!!)
