ENBSeries wrote:Damn it! I stuck completely with sss lighting, every math i try don't give any better results than several that did before and which give look of different material types. And this not including separation for skin lighting and deeper from blood. Even if i'll do all algorithms with variables how much each one to blend, how then to choose each one from sss map? Alpha channel of it as material index may work, but it don't give any properties of sss variables.
You are a wizard, man! You'll figure it out. Maybe you just need to sleep on it.

That said, I wouldn't suspect one single universal, unparameterized algorithm would work. The reasons why different materials scatter in real life are different. A Candle is fairly simple, just one material, semi-translucent wax, so its scattering would be fairly simple. SSS in a human hand in the real world, on the other hand, is naturally more complex. It is not surprising the problem is a difficult one to solve. People have confidence in you, though. You've already done more with Skyrim than I think anyone, even its original creators, could have ever imagined...and the things people have been able to do already with the capabilities you've given them is truly astonishing. Whether you get SSS working or not, all I can say is "THANK YOU!!!"

That motherfucking badass motherfucker Samuel L Jackson belongs everywhere. He is a motherfucking god. You better believe it otherwise he will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger, on those who attempt to poison and destroy his brothers... :D

In all seriousness, watch Pulp Fiction. You'll get it then. :D

Boris
Can you add Interior/Exterior parameters to E_CC_PROCEDURAL please?

No, create yourself, they not depends from internal code and my enbeffect.fx is just example.

Okay, i finished mixing code of subsurface scattering, decided to use style of vars from Mental Ray as they are simpler to understand for casual players compared to VRay, FR or Maxwell. Epidermal and Subdermal parameters and only subdermal can be affected by subsurface texture of the game (_sk?). Not made yet separate drawing of game subsurface textures and only using diffuse texture instead of it, don't know, make it in future versions after testing of current code with reports and suggestions...

Re: TES Skyrim 0.217

He-he, there are graphical artifacts with this sss math, turned on all code and saw them. Black eyes, annoying "contrast" of skin compared to hairs are most noticable.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.217

Ok, seems fixed all bugs which i saw, but for colors still use diffuse texture with increased colors (saturation parameters in enbseries.ini), can't do any better with such trick and don't want to make sss texture support in this version.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.217

For the future I'd be all in for a separate SSS texture, it should be a lot more versatile than a oversaturated diffuse and if you know what you're doing not hard to create.
I get that your concern about all new types of bugreports concerning wrong sss textures, but come on, there's always going to be those people who are not willing to read.

But right now, GIEV NEW VERSION. :)

Re: TES Skyrim 0.217

Folks, i can't find how to add to inventory new cloths or armors installed which don't have any description where to find. I remember that one maid outfit somehow added via console, but deleting almost all mods only because don't know how to get their id.
