TES Skyrim 0.219

The Elder Scrolls Skyrim (TES Skyrim, Скурим Свитки)

Graphic mod ENBSeries / patch ENBoost 0.219

Did various fixes to graphic bugs of detailed shadows, subsurface scattering, ssao, hairs. Subsurface scattering effect still the same as in previous version, only quality fixes applied.
I'll try to enumerate what remember:
Masking of semitransparent clothes for sss and ssao, so such objects affected accoring to their opacity.
Hairs masking, including some buggy vanilla types which looked semitransparent with sss enabled.
Hairs color tint applied to fix artifact of extremely bright indirect lighting even from black hairs (for example between ponytail and head).
Detailed shadows "glowing" edges artifact which very noticable with some hairs, necklaces, rings.
SSS noise reduced a little.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.219

Trying .219 now! Looking good so far.

Just wanted to take this opportunity to suggest a (hopefully) simple fix: Allow the shaders window to stay hidden. It seems to always show up again. The weather window stays disabled, but not the shaders window.

Thank for every bit of your work, Boris.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.219

Looks fine to me. Didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. Thanks for the update. Performance difference between the different quality settings for subsurface scattering is very small too.

Is it at all possible to be able to edit Water? I remember water foam used to be affected by fire variables until you edited it but always wondered why you never added any variables for the water body itself.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.219

Water have many issues, because it tweaked in game to look almost same, but as shader code different water types have absolutely different math and some with bugs, which unfixable. Some water share same shaders as objects, i remember sword with same shader as small water streams near whiterun. Not sure when will do any changes to it if will do ever.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.219

v0.219 seems to have introduced a strange SSS bug with facial features around the mouth. Female lips seem a little fuzzy, but more so, default male faces (my current character at least, no face texture mods as far as I know) seem to have a strange square around their mouth:

v0.218

v0.219

Also as you can see, certain things like the rock clutter and edges of the stone wall got brighter, but that may have been intentional. :)

Phinix
It's not the bug of the mod, it's bug of models setup. In previous version bug was visible when semitransparent objects like hairs of clothes was drawed as overlay over body, this is fixed and if anything wrong, it's all because of game. There are tons of bugs of all kinds including such issues and no way to fix them from my side.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.219

Here an examples how shitty everything set, even these issues hard to fix as it's a lot of editing. I don't want to speak about sss maps support.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.219

Okay, that one kills all my textures mixes, whatever the settings :?
I have very obvious neck seams on all characters, seams between skin and beards, skin and hairs, and so on...
Something must be very wrong on my side...

Re: TES Skyrim 0.219

I recommend to discuss with other users and better with modders what to do with sss, because it's obvious how f* awful everything made.
