You've got your own style; keep exploring that, and do your own thing. That shot with the giant made it into my special wallpaper rotation: great stuff. Oh, and I wish I had nights like that.
Hmm... well if you want 1920x1080, let me know :P I run all my testing shots through my batch that exports 720p... but I could easy church out a 1080p (original is 1440p after all).
kalicola wrote:Jim: How are you getting that foggy/bloomy/hazy look in the horizon? When I turn up fog and bloom it just gets very foggy like, contrast is dispearing, and when I bring the contrast back in enbeffect.ini, it just seems to eliminate the fog and bloom... Any secret parameters I'm missing somewhere perhaps?
Heh. Midhras has it right. I go by James :P Not sure if there's a method to achieve that foggy\hazy look in the distance. I think increased bloom has a hand in that. Here are my fog day settings....

FogColorMultiplierDay=0.8
FogColorCurveDay=0

Re: TES Skyrim

James, uploading as 720p if you could just as easily do 1080p; no good. Unless you live in some godforsaken corner of the Earth where broadband is unavailable. Give me a link on Flickr, or just swap in the bigger file. You can swap images on Flickr, by the way, if you hadn't noticed.

@theradikal11: That troll looks fantastic. I think not all of your shots work with your enb, but when they do, they're spectacular. That beast looks like he could have been in a director's cut of Conan the Barbarian. If Milius could've done trolls that way in 1982...

LOL thanks buddy, I wasn't fishing for compliments, honest ;)

By the way I love the colours in this shot and the nice bloom on the sword

720p is the perfect resolution for forums I think... and I don't think flickr lets you generate a 720p version when you upload 1080p. I think the "large" size is a little too small sometimes... especially for darker images. Didn't know you could swap though. I'll look into it.

@Dorak

Those last two screens look amazing. You said this was just a tweaked version of Superl3's ENB, but it's starting to look significantly different. Any plans on releasing this?

@jim2point0

I'm liking how your setup is coming along, especially how you seem to have gotten the best of both worlds with bloom (dreamy horizon, but good contrast).

Out of curiosity, has anyone started a config with all the fog parameters set to zero?

TV: Hope you don't mind me using your config as a base? It does look quite different now.. It's just much easier to begin with a preset than starting from zero, if you know what I mean..

Just tried this mod. Makes the pointlight flicker from fires and so on animate faster.. Much better mood in dungeons :)

Re: TES Skyrim

Had time to jump on Skyrim, my pc still sucks ahaha... i get around 17 fps with AO off... Maybe when I can afford a better rig I will return with more, until then I suffer ahahah.

Wouldn't mind any comments suggesting fixes as well, great stuff here as always!

Consider yourself lucky, I get 20-35 FPS with ENB NOT turned on. I can't play using ENB. I only use it for shots and that's it.

midhras wrote:I'm indeed downsampling to hide my lack of real skill. Far327: I like your shots more and more each time. This time, especially the interior settings, plus the two on the harbour docks. I'm not a fan of Technicolor, but that's just my taste. I like some sharpness, but not too much, so if possible, I'd go in between. Check the banners for your sweet point.
Thanks for the input midhras. You're overly modest regarding your abilities though. Your screens are remarkable! Downsampling is great! I was going that route initially but the FPS is taxing that I couldn't bear it any longer. There are probably 4 or 5 pages I dedicated to downsampling way back in the thread. Obviously it has it's advantages for screen capturing. But hey its a raw realtime change in game, not like photoshop or anything. So I almost see it as a bonus if your rig can pull it off :) Plus we all really like the shots, so it's a win win :)
