Well, Boris hasn't released caustics, so it's gotta be reflection then... unless you meant Dispersion?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.227

Fairly sure that it depends on the texture used. I also use realistic water two, and the colors are there but not that extreme.

Love the new reflection parameters though! It has solved an issue I had with water reflections being too intense!

Personnally using W.A.T.E.R. , and never had any issue whatever the values ;)
Can't wait for caustics, Boris ! :)
And parallax would be quite good as well ;) I'm almost sure you did some tries already.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.227

I use WATER too (it's the best water package anyways in my eyes, handmade waves not only in Solstheim, water plants, several different types of waves) and I have this rainbow shimmer effect too (same water values in enbseries.ini as SkyrimTuner, actually I use his ENB preset), but at a far lesser degree. It looks pretty realistic for equipped metallic armor textures beneath the water surface, but no so well for body textures.

I could watch this overlay effect fire pits too, an overlay of structures in the background on burning firewood pieces (and not even the whole structures, looks like a normal map grid for wall stones in my case) and yes, it is at best visible during movement.

Some screenshots (ENB 227 + RealVision preset):

New Water

Was it you with the transparent fire embers?

Haven't messed with parameters as yet, just getting caught back up to updates from 0.226...so defaulted values with whatever Boris plugged into it. Just that I can see an overlay, like greyscale/transparency/ghost of background (reflection if it were water) when looking into fire pits and such with no fire. Otherwise, without any fiddling with values, [Water] is looking really nice. As for Caustics, yeah I did get ahead of myself. :P

Boris: any way to get more of the original texture colors blended with the rainbow effect in Caustic? (I mean is this within your ability/skill/framework of that silly game)

That was me, or at least one of them was. I reported a problem with distant dynamic snow particles showing through logs/ashes when particle lights are enabled. Somebody else also reported a problem with a certain city wall cornerstone decal rendering through the flames themselves, but I haven't noticed that and I don't know if that has anything to do with the particle lights settings, so it may be an unrelated bug.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.227

You mentioned Parallax mapping the water? I asked about parallax to a few modders, and they (Actually, I think it was just Opticshooter) mentioned it looked weird, but I didn't see any pictures of how it looked.
