Mindflux: How are you getting the DOF to work without looking at the object... I mean, your last two shots, the near objects are in focus, even though they are not in the center of the screen... How do you get everything in front in focus and everything in the back out of focus at all times?

Re: TES Skyrim
I'm using a somewhat customized old version of Matso's depth of field code that can be made to work this way. The first iteration of his implementation was even crazier, because it always focused solely on nearest things, felt like I left my glasses at home If you want the effect file, you can download my ENB from Nexus, it has the same configuration.kalicola wrote:Mindflux: How are you getting the DOF to work without looking at the object... Thanks, yours too. As is probably evident from the screens, I'm somewhat struggling with the colour balance...Unreal Warfere wrote:Nice screenshots Mindflux.

Re: TES Skyrim
Cool: I will try out you DOF
Another thing I can't get to work is the lens flare going of from bright light and specularity. No matter what I set the camera lens effects to in the enbseries.ini nothing happens. Turning up bloom IS doing something, but it also makes everything REALLY hazy... Am I missing something in the enbeffect.ini?
Here's a perfect exsample of what I mean and what I want. It just looks so damn cool... The guy who uploaded this, is not saying a word, so he is not very helpfull..
Awesome lens effects from specularity

Re: TES Skyrim
Indeed, that was my good old ass config. I don't even remember how i achieved this to be honest. But i'm pretty sure i was using matso, or hd6 ENB config. That's Doraks old ENB. He never did share it as far as I remember.
And at the time, my point with this video was to simply show off some work, not to be helpful .
