I don't get why you feel the need to insult everyone here.
Well, when you needlessly butt into an argument just to suck up to Boris, I think calling you a lackey is apropos. I definitely don't feel the need to insult anyone, just responding in kind. If you don't think Boris is incessantly insulting
without provocation, I don't know what to say.

You're losing your time. Better keeping us informed when you publish, please.
Typical logical fallacy. Just because one can doesn't mean one should or will. I also never said I have "all" the knowledge, whatever that could possibly mean. Apparently Boris is all-knowing. The only reason I brought up my level of knowledge at all was because Boris is not only pompous enough to generally treat everyone like idiots who know nothing, but he
explicitly stated that I "know nothing about graphics". Kind of forced my hand. Definitely wasn't braggadocio. But if I was going to brag, I would say that I've forgotten more about graphics than most of you even know, and Boris is STILL smarter than me.
Anyway such an argument is so fallacious, it doesn't even have a point. Really it's just a childish taunt. Defending my intelligence against a tyrant is not equivalent to saying I could do better, or that I even want to.

Also, do tell me : are you REALLY forcing any MSAA+TRSSAA via NVI with TESV profile ??? Impossible.
So you're using other AA compatibility bits than the recommended ones, wich leads to not reliable results.
Also, SSAA has nothing in common with TRSSAA since it's a full downsampling AA method, not supported by Nvidia for TESV.
Also, real terms for transparency AA methods are OGTRSSAA and SGTRSSAA for Ordered Grid and Sparse Grid, respectively.
Yes thank you, I know all the acronyms. Not sure how Boris doesn't see the "TRAA" in there... You have MSAA, SSAA as suffixes, and OG and SG as prefixes. So generally you have TR + (MS/SS)AA = TRAA.

Don't bother trying to reason with him, he's just another typical angry person on the internet, programmer or otherwise.
Indeed, would be hard to "reason with" me, as I'm the only reasonable voice in this entire thread. Unless of course you care to enlighten me as to what exactly is unreasonable. Angry? Would you not define Boris as angry? Maybe it's the norm for him to treat everyone like shit, but it definitely comes off as perpetual anger. I don't think standing up against his tyranny, and subsequently defending my stance for 5 pages equates to anger.
I will agree with everyone that this is getting pathetic. It took 4 pages for Boris to even catch that it was about TRAA, and he's still hung up on what a decal is apparently, due to his constant use of quotes ("decal")... If he'd bother to look inside the NIF format he'd see exactly what constitutes a decal. It's just a couple of shader flags. Shader flags are how he hijacks, for example, the "soft lighting" shader in order to use his SSS. So if he really wanted, he could ignore decals...
