Thanks. That is helpful. Will have to experiment now that I have a better understanding. I just don't having to use realistic lighting to fix certain times of day where night lighting parameters take priority.

For those wondering about the lens flare effect, it works mainly as a function of brightness (edit: duh).
If you have difficulty making it "pop," try lowering EToneMappingOversaturationV2=
I don't know how to manipulate bright clamping with HD6's post process "5" (he says he doesn't use it), but I'm sure there's some workaround. I think it also helps if your palette uses a pure white color for the bright spectrum.
