HI Boris,
You probably already know, but the name of this thread is 'Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.230' while it is actually about ENB 232. There is also another thread called 'Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.230' that is actually about 230...
Maybe update the name of this thread?
Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.232

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.232
My performance with .232 is great! I'm getting close to a solid 60 fps at 2560x1080 resolution in FO3. I've been playing FO3 all weekend and it's been very stable. I'm still having weird glitches with FNV but I'm looking into it.

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.232
Boris, I have great news...
I just installed the latest (13.11 Beta) AMD drivers and gave my HD 7950 a shot and this version, along with .230 work flawlessly. No crash or anything. I'm gonna test it out a lot more, but I thought you should know if you didn't already.
I'm sure this will save you some aggravation from having to listen to AMD users complain.

Boris is there any chance you would consider doing SSS for Fallout? Just asking because I am doing a character overhaul with new meshes/textures for characters and SSS for them would be awesome.

Listen folks, subsurface scattering work more or less good in skyrim only because most objects have sss already and i know which they are. But even then many have problems, kids for example or some elves. In Fallout i can detect objects which fall in to sss category, but this will be awful on practice with tons of bugs, sss will be applied to armors and will give them plastic look, part of elements will not be modified. I can't apply only to models which have facegen properties, as i remember from skyrim, those are faces only. Detecting skin by color? Madness full of errors. Skyrim and Oblivion are games for breasts and legs, ok?

So is there anything else you can do for Fallout?

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.232
The game can pinpoint skin somehow. The imagespace modifiers have settings specifically to control skin luminance, at least in New Vegas. Not sure about Fallout 3.ENBSeries wrote:Listen folks, subsurface scattering work more or less good in skyrim only because most objects have sss already and i know which they are.
