Thanks! Much appreciated.kalicola wrote:mindflux: Great composition in that screenshot!
Unreal Warfare, really cool shots with your latest set. The guy in the second shot looks almost too real.
Keeping up appearances...

Re: TES Skyrim
Thanks. Decided to step away from the usual fantasy style and go for a little more realism for a change.mindflux wrote:Unreal Warfare, really cool shots with your latest set. The guy in the second shot looks almost too real.
Judging by some of the comments so far it looks like I succeeded, hehe.
Nice shot by the way.
@Jim: Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't you start off with one of my old configs? If so are you still modifying it or did you move onto another? Because I have to say I'm deeply impressed by the night shots you keep throwing out and would love to see where I was going wrong with mine if you're still modifying my old settings (I really just can't nail nights as well as I can my days, it's a bit depressing). Great job so far, regardless.

Haha well, I think it's just that change is good. I'm not very good at that, thoughUnreal Warfare wrote:Thanks. Nice shot by the way.
And thanks! Still striving to find balance with the lighting.

Re: TES Skyrim
Great job everyone! Your pics do not cease to please me
Meanwhile some test screens from tweaked Jasmin's 4.2 (sorry for similar places with my old ones, but for me it just easier to compare with other presets)
Helgen
so if you are interested more test screens in this topic: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=410&start=30

Edit:@Pmind
Is that 2.35:1? Looks like it My only suggestion is to consider increasing your FOV just a bit; 70 seems to work well for me. There's something slightly claustrophobic about some of those screens lol, or maybe that was the intent.
@jim2point0
I envy your patience with RL. Once I saw the scope of the .ini file I immediately gave up. I doubt it lacks anything in versatility, but man does it require a lot of testing. In any case, your screens so far look pretty damn nice. Mind posting your RL .ini modifications?
@UW
I don't really know how else to describe EToneMappingOversaturationV2 (it seems to reduce highlights), but your solution is definitely the more elegant one as far as lens reflection goes
Also, I too like the more realistic take, although I seem to be drifting toward the fantasy side of things for now...
My steadfast resistance to bloom has finally cracked:
