Displacement causes CTD when loading water in a new cell. I loaded save game in Jorrvaskr, went outside into Whiterun by the big tree with water flowing around it and game CTD's in about a half second. I went through what changes I had made to my game since I last played and realized it was only the binary and enabled displacement. Anyway, just to see I made no changes (displacement still on) and went outside to the same area through the same door and it took about a full second to CTD this time. I tried with Displacement disabled (edited in enbseries.ini outside of game) and the area loaded just fine. I then tried enabling displacement in game with the area already loaded and I had no problems (works just fine that way). This obviously isn't extensively tested, but I thought I'd report that at least. I'm using Realistic Water Two w/ WATER mod parallax map and system specs are in my signature. Drivers are 13.11beta7. Anything you want me to test for specifically (areas, water types, etc.) or just report more as data comes in?
EDIT: Ok, my initial results may not be totally true... crashing isn't occurring anymore so I'll have to collect more data before being sure... If I continue to have issues, I'll report again.

Version updated, download again
Removed displacement for underwater, increased performance of displacement by computing lower resolution of water height data.

I can't help.

Boris
It's ok... I can't seem to get consistent results. I've tried reloading the game, exiting from the same interior, different interiors, coc to different cells, none of it crashes anymore so perhaps I just had too random CTD's that were in no way related. I thought maybe I'd found a bug that was either from AMD video card or some bug in the code, but since it's no longer happening I can't say it was even related anymore. Sorry for the false alarm...

Re: TES Skyrim 0.233
No issues to report with new version, new water displacement has 4-5 fps hit on my system
Looks ok as is with Pure Waters, will be interesting to see with proper height maps then:
Thanks for the update

@boris
That strange rendering there isn't a bug it seems i overloaded the shader temperature was ok though but it must been a hardware failure i cant reproduce it anymore, it's no good sign in my personal case geez can't maxwell be out already i have the feeling i bring my 460 GTX quiet to the Edge of what is good with the massive ENB overhead
Which on one side is amazing, though i also have to say i never saw the GPU failing in this way rendering such a crazy output and not being damaged @ all, normaly you think about overheating GPU showing up in red and green dots, but this render experience was much crazier very unique also (maybe though the GDDR5 Memory was overheating)
I will google for these GPU failures if i can't find them i will ask a Nvidia Engineer
Though im pretty sure it's possible to create more overhead on the GPU Shader units and GPU Memory with ENB then it's possible even with Furmark, and i guess i reached that point on the water test and then everything gone high wire after that, so i need to be really careful not to kill the 460 GTX before Maxwell arrives now and try to really lower my shader chain overhead @ least a little

Re: TES Skyrim 0.233
Seems not many users interested in water, but i remember much screams "aaaahhh! i want tesselation dx11!!!111111". When it come to practice, all those "famous" modders are little kids who can only use CrazyBump to generate normals and nothing else. I'm tired from modding.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.233
Hopefully you're not talking about me. Seriously though, almost 2 years later and I'm still interested in modding Skyrim....crazy huh? Or maybe not. Every time I try to retire, you release something cool, for now it's the new water effects. I'm not sure, but maybe some of the mod authors (W.A.T.E.R., Pure Waters, etc.) just can't keep up with you, due to time constraints or laziness in general. I don't know, but don't burn yourself out Boris.....i remember much screams "aaaahhh! i want tesselation dx11!!!111111

Seriously, the water on that last screen you posted looks AWESOME
I've always been interested in water, i just didn't want to throw my own ideas in since i have no idea about shader programming. Just don't listen to all the trolls. They are everywhere all over the internet^^

Added water lighting and specular from sun control. Removed ForceFakeVideocard mode as it's obsolette after 2 years and only bring problems.

Why don't you go there and put some screens on the comments area of the mods? it will be fun imhoENBSeries wrote: When it come to practice, all those "famous" modders are little kids who can only use CrazyBump to generate normals and nothing else. I'm tired from modding.
